Dak is an average QB, in fact in the latest QB ratings he's in the mid 20's. Yet the Cowboys are in a tough spot, they need to re-sign him but he's wanting 30 million per year and might get close to it! If a guy like Dak is worth 30 million what does that say about the top QB's worth? Eventually teams are going to have to just say no, a guy like Dak IMO is replaceable, and for 30 million a year the Cowboys would be better off looking to extend some of their big names that are waiting on a new contract..
I agree and the reason he’ll get it is it’s harder than hell to find a QB even as good as Dak. I also agree that these QB contract are getting out control. I mean Lucks contract will be up in a few years what will he get crazy. They will have to keep increasing the salary cap to compensate for it.

I thought their draft from this year was a bit mediocre along with the draft he had last year. Very few if any impact players . I liked the OL that they selected in the first round but I thought that first round was too high for him considering he was a small school player. I think the Texans are mainly reacting to Deshaun Watson getting hammered like crazy last year and are making immediate moves to fix the situation. They are cutting bait now before they get their version of being "Grigsoned". I wouldn't be surpised if they brought Rick Smith back. That's the kind of move that makes sense at this time.
Well, Watson also holds the ball to long. Which good for us Colts fans though.

Honestly this is starting to irk me a bit. I love the Pacers, but sweet Murphy the city and state basically bend over backwards for Simon (and being honest it’s not just Pacers oriented, either.)
Simon is ok with getting close, but he won’t hit the gas pedal even for a minute.
Well. I love the Pacers to but not as much as the Colts. I'm just thankful that Irsay will spend whatever it takes to bring home a winner and you can say what you want about him and it's probably all true but he's a great owner Simon not so much and he's probably richer than Irsay to.

Because I am looking at it from a Pacers fan point of view. Our owner refuses to go over the Salary Cap to build a super team so I have to sit around knowing the Pacers will never win a championship. To answer your question even better, the NBA needs a hard cap otherwise most teams have 0 chance to win the NBA championship going into a season. Raptors lucked into to getting Leonard because the Spurs were dumb enough to trade him. Reason I still watch, I love basketball but the NBA needs a hard cap otherwise I can't take it serious in today's game.
When the Cavs had LeBron, they were 35-40 million over the Salary Cap to keep them winning. What is the point of having a Salary Cap in reality in the NBA when 2 or 3 owners will just go over it to have stacked teams? You have to pay a luxury tax for going over but who cares if you are a billionaire owner. Dan Gilbert did it for the Cavs and he still has more money than he will ever spend. The Pacers owner will not though. I guess he never wants to win the big one like the Cavs did in 2016.
Simon is extremely tight with his money despite all the city does to accommodate him with millions of dollars a year.

Takes on a new perspective since Kevin Durant injured his achilles. Now I can see why Coach Reich is in no rush to hurry Luck back. On ESPN NFL Live both the Hassleback brothers were commenting about calf strains can turn into achilles injuries if not properly handled.
I know I worried about that when I saw Durant go down. The Colts need to use extreme caution in this situation and it sounds that’s what there doing. This makes me worry a little this season is counting on a healthy Luck. So if means no workouts on that calf until

Yes, i suspect he is too mature to answer that question.
And the same for not being asked it.I was really just wondered if maybe in had a goal in mind.

I wish they would have asked how him many sacks he's going to get this season. He probably wouldn't have answered it I still would liked the question.

Crimes, including rape, are matters of law enforcement to be reported to the local police department for investigation. If evidence of a crime exists, a prosecutor brings charges. If convicted in a court of law by judge and jury, the criminal is punished.
This accuser apparently did not report the incident to the police, but to the college.
She is the one who did not take it seriously.
Great point if she really thinks she was raped she should have went to the police. If she can’t take this seriously why should anyone else.

It an allegation only until we have the facts and it looks like we may never have them. But until then we can't prejudge anything but people still will, unfortunately. I mean if Ballard felt comfortable enough about still selecting him he probably knows a lot more about this then we do. We should not turn against this guy at least not yet. I'm ignoring this until I know more.

We can thank him for backing out.

it comes to that side of the ball.
Yes, and I love it we finally got a GM who cares about defense.

I'm interested in the athlete but character wise I'm not sure Ballard will be .
What do we know about his character? We know he had an ATV accident which voided his contract but he's 22 yrs old he's going to make mistakes.

That was my favorite talk from a man that I admire. What a great man and vision I'm behind him 100 % if your a Colts fan and you can't get behind Ballard's vision then your not a true fan. I've loved this team for 35 yrs and love this team even more now. GO Colts!!

Nothing wrong with a player trying to secure financial compensation for himself and his family for their future!
If Billionaire owners can quibble over a handful of millions why shouldn't individual players whose years of earning potential is limited.
I totally agree and I would do the same thing if I were him

Luck mentioned when they got back into the building he hadn’t started throwing yet and was just pacing himself. I am sure he will be throwing when OTA start.
Yes, and the media will be there to see it so we can hear about it.

Agreed. Funchess is much better than his old QB made him look like.
4 wide sets with TY and Cain running deep posts/crosses and Funchess and Campbell running the short to intermediate routes will be a thing of beauty. Pick your poison defense.....
Not to be a downer but Funchess dropped 1 in every 8 passes throwned to him last season on average that’s to high. But hopefully he’ll improve on that this season only time will tell.
