  1. Vilma is going to push it to the limits, as he has already done. Now I am one of the most outspoken people against bounty gate and thinking it was totally blown out of proportion but none of this has helped either. The NFL controls this, which has been proven with the whole "bounty" crap. This was not some big story broken by great journalism. The NFL created this problem, they control it, and they will control this. He's just wasting his time.

  2. I see him retiring, especially if he wins a Super Bowl. Man I loved watching Ed Reed all these years. He's definitely one of the old school type defensive players. I know tons of Saints fans thinking we can land him, even if he goes into free agency I'm sure we'd pass him up and draft another bust Safety or corner like we have with Jenkins and Harper.

  3. Don't you mean Chris?

I never got what his problem was with Everett. Jim Everett was one of the better more underrated QB's back then. 1988-1990 were great years for him. If it wasn't for the poor teams he was on, he probably would have a ring today.

  4. Lost in last week's niners/pack game was how Rodgers shredded that niner D. I expect Ryan to have similar success. The falcons will also not let Kaep run just like they shut down Russell Wilson. I also like Atlanta to be more relaxed which should help them score more. I think they win by 10-14 points.

Rodgers shredded their defense? Yeah I guess 250 yards, 2 TD's and 3 INT (2 of them called back on nonsense calls) is "shredding it". Not to mention how bad the Niners secondary was all over those wide receivers. Those guys play hard ball, they make you hurt when they hit you. The Saints didn't learn this last year when we played them, which is why I wasn't shocked we got our * handed to us by them this year around.

Atlanta game Russell Wilson his first 300 yard game, and he nearly had 400 yards against them. Now that is shredding. Kaep set the record for most yardage by a QB last week against GB's 16th ranked defense. ATL is ranked 25th on defense. No way they are going to stop that kid.

  5. Atlanta nearly lost that game last week if it wasn't for Carroll making bone head decisions. 2 bad decisions gave the game to Atlanta. They blew a 20 point lead, and won by the skins of their teeth. This is the same defense ranked 25th in the league that was supposedly so "great" they got slashed to bits by Seattle's passing game.

They played the easiest schedule all year (easier than Denver yes) and now they are playing the most dangerous team left in it. There is a reason S.F. has beat all the big QB's they've faced under Harbaugh and they will beat Matt Ryan. Everyone who thinks this kid is better than Brees and some "elite" is about to see just how good he really is. This is the same defense that beat Brady, Brees, and Rodgers twice....Atlanta is going to get smothered. They will go into this game physically worn down from the Seattle game they should have lost, and all it's going to take is 2 picks or a fumble, and the Niners are going to get the score run up early, and stay on top. Oh the Falcons will get their stats, cause they will be playing catch up the entire game.

  6. Couple things

1.How is 120 tackles and 3 sacks nothing?

2.They certainly hit on a talented rookie defensive player

3.Nick Perry got injured this year but had 2 sacks through 5 games

2 sacks in 5 games? That is horrible. Hawk had 3 sacks this season, that is nothing. Just watch them play. Watch their pass rush. When Matthews wasn't playing, they had no pass rush. Hawk covering Vernon Davis was the most hilarious crap last week. The middle is the main thing. GB's guys cannot cover anyone over the middle, nor can they can pass rush without Clay Matthews. Staley on one arm defended Matthews in that game and did a great job shutting him down.

All that defense needs is a couple of free agents but they won't even dare pick any up cause it's not TT's way. They think TT is some genius, when he's really not.

  7. Te'o was the most overrated player this season. He didn't look so hot against my boys in the big dance. You seen exactly what Notre Dame was, OVERRATED. I'll be honest; Oregon probably would have beat us in that game....but they wanted Notre Dame, they got 'em and you seen exactly what happened. Te'o couldn't tackle anybody, and we ran it down their throats. McCarron looked like god out there, with all day to throw.

  8. Thanks...and good luck to your Saints too....it was a tough 12 months for them but I'm sure they'll be back to their role as an NFC force next year.

With next year's schedule, and here's to praying they cut the usual suspects on defenses that don't know how to tackle, I think we win the division next year. Payton will be back but the defense still is a big concern for me. I can't make excuses for them when they don't even know how to tackle. It's embarrassing watching them give up huge plays.

  9. You guys were a lot of fun to stick around with and shoot the crap with this season. You're one of the more appreciative fan bases I've come across in my time, and I was rooting for this team to surprise the world. I like a good underdog, I hope this team stays that way. You have a team that plays with a lot of heart now, and that's something that we don't see very often anymore.

I wanted to say thanks for not taking things too seriously and wanting to hang me around these parts for my very opinionated mouth. It's in all fun, something other fans have forgotten over the years.

Do me a favor will ya? Kick Houston in the mouth next season and win the division. I'll be a happy man if you do that.

You're a great fan base, one of the best. I'll always remember that next time someone tries to tell me other wise about you folks.

  10. It depends....You have Coughlin who coughs up a great start to an even or losing record to end the season. Dan Synder and his fantasy football team under a washed up coach, then last but not least Jerrah who makes sure the Cowboys never ever win another Super Bowl. Kelly made do alright if he follows the pattern and sees where his competition likes to make mistakes.
