Colts for Flowers
C. J. Mosley
-
Trey Flowers- Can rush and set the edge, which is extremely valuable, see Jabaal Sheard.
C.J. Mosley- having two all-pro LBs in the core would help tremendously and he is pretty good in coverage.
Landon Collins- safety who is very capable in coverage and can play down if needed. He and Hooker would be a great duo.
With these three pick-ups all you focus on the draft is WR and CB and just improve depth.

Not bad, I wouldn’t be upset with this draft. The only questionable pick would be the LB in 6th round. I’d rather take a developmental OT or G for depth. Otherwise, good job.
I can understand your logic. I didn't know much about Greenlaw but he had some pretty good numbers last year at Arkansas

89: R3P25
WR PENNY HART

Edelman put on a show...but is it ironic the last two times the Patriots won the super bowl there MVP was suspended for 4 games that season.
-
Another guy I would go after in a heart beat if he reaches Free Agency is C.J. Mosley. If you pair him with Leonard, that could be a lethal combination. In the draft focus on WR, DBs and an Edge rusher and your set.

The second video looked much better, and he seemed more explosive. I only watched the first 4 minutes of the first tape and there were some pretty bad looking plays where he was fooled and just didn't seem very explosive.

I like Iowa State wide receiver Hakeem Butler. He is 6'6" 225 and can run.
What is the knock on this guy? I don't see him mentioned with the top prospects, but he obviously has more than ideal size and from that video has some breakaway speed.

He looks like a great prospect...and would definitely be a big body WR we need. Would almost create a TE type match-up in the slot, like Ebron, would be very excited to get him.

My top targets, and I am sure they will probably get tagged or something would be Landon Collins and Demarcus Lawerence.

Ben doesn’t scare me like he used to...Rivers will be another year older...I agree it looks tough, but who knows...injuries, trades, and free agency changes a lot of things

SI's panel is questionable:
Darius is the ONLY rookie in their conversation for DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR.
Darius is somehow THIRD???? for their Defensive ROOKIE of the Year?0 Sense
i saw this too and was like that makes absolutely no sense. How can a guy be third in a rookie category but the only one in that category to carry a vote in a much broader player of the year category...mind-boggling.

Half the time he gets the players names wrong.
I think that’s be a little harder than some think. Not trying to make excuses but roughly 40 guys rotate in and out during a game from both teams, it’s not like the NBA where it’s 8 from each or MLB where it’s the same 9 every game

I hate that guy runs his mouth and half the time doesn't have a clue what he is talking about.
While he’s far from my favorite commentator...I’m guessing that since he played in the NFL he does have a clue about what he is talking about...

I have felt the past three games or so we have been getting pretty bad calls against us.
The taunting penalty should at the least, been offsetting penalties.
The AC block when the defender turned his back and ducked down, that one had me pretty hot, and yelling at my TV lol.
Then the blatant PI call where there defender arrived quite early on TY and didn't get called, I was starting to say bad things to myself.
The best part is the team persevered and still put it to the Cowboys....now lets finish off the season and make some noise in the post season!

I wonder if Barry Church had a Bobby Bouche moment...."You sound like a big choo choo train!"

my family usually gets together and plays cards on sundays. If the Colts are playing I sit out and watch them, but this week I was able to just play some good old euchre.

Spero and Adam again. The toilet bowl announcing crew.
I actually don't mind Spero too much, he at least gets excited about plays. Adam leaves a little to be desired....its better than listening to Doris Burke call an NBA game lol

We have 2 2nd rounders so I could part with a 3rd or 4th for him. I’d also do Mack and a 4th for Cooper.
Mack? Are you serious? The running game finally was good against a good defense no less...we have to keep Mack

I don't understand why football players are always injuring their hamstring. You rarely see it in basketball and not really very much in baseball. But football players do it all the time and no one touched TY when he did it. I mean baseball players do full sprints to first base of the time.
I think partially because of the number of movements at that high rate of speed. If you think about a baseball player, yes they may sprint the bases or an outfielder may come flying in full speed for a catch, but a lot of other movements such as an infielder moving over for a ground ball are not 100% movements. In basketball the same is true, there are definitely times where a player goes all out, but they also have times with limited movement on offense or defense depending on the play, etc..
Football on the other hand is all out 100% motion all of the time. The muscles are firing at their highest rates no matter what. Even when a WR is blocking on the other side of the play they still fire off the line to make contact.
With this all being said, I do still think the Colts seem to have a higher rate of hamstring issues than other teams, but I do think football players are more prone.

They are an NFL team. They are suppose to fight for wins.
This season has not been good. Expected but really nothing to be proud of either.
That is right they are supposed to fight for the game. This team showed some heart last night and some fight. They were decimated by injuries going into a hostile environment against a team that just dismantled a 3-0 team. Let us not forget we were coming off an OT game and this was a short week with travel.
Even in the Peyton years I remember going into Foxboro and there being games where we just got our hind ends kicked, and just took it. Tonight was different, if you were watching. We got lucky on one take away, but the Gronk one was forced by a perfectly timed hit.
If Wilkins doesn't lose that fumble, we are knocking on the redzone again. Don't forget that Vinny uncharacteristically missed a shorter FG too. This team did not die and kept fighting. Just like the other games we have lost this year, we have been right in it.
The defense ended up giving up 38 points, but 14 of them were because of a short field. Lets not forget we were missing our best defensive player in Leanard. We were also missing our slot CB and during the game lost out MLB and DE's(Hunt and Autry).
This is still a rebuilding year, but this team will be a force to be reckoned with in a year or two. Don't @ me, and don't try to jump on the train when it's already rolling!

I'd like to go to a game. But my wife and I were looking into the Jets vs Colts game.. which is looking like a battle between a couple 1 win teams. And people are right, the prices are outrageous.. I could easily go out and buy a nice 50 inch tv and have the perfect seat and view from home.
This is so true....I have been to two games at LOS and one time the tickets were given to me, the other i found $100 lower bowl tickets the day before the Bengals WC win a few years back. It is hard to find any tickets that are decent price. I can't make myself purchase tickets $120 bucks to sit in the second deck or higher, it is just silly, I can see it better on my TV.
I know a lot will say you can't get the atmosphere, which it is pretty cool, but it isn't worth so much money to me. (I am probably a squeak a little when I walk, my dad says, lol)
I am the type if I go I want to sit down low where I can see everything closely and kind of dissect the game. In order to do that you are going to have to drop at least $350 most games for you and your significant other to go...I can do a lot with $350

I have seen it called on a DL when preventing a TE to release
maybe on and DE in that scenario, i can agree there. but against an OL, I have not.

Another 10 years before see a DL called for holding. That 2nd and 26 call was a back breaker along with the other penalty calls.
I agree hear...I can't remember the last time I have seen at DL called for holding.....that one was outrageous. The one on Hairston was iffy because Ertz had his hands on Nate too, and shoved off. All things considered we were right there at the end, and with maybe a better play call on 3rd and 4th down, we could have won. This team is still a little frustrating, but they are giving me reason to believe there is going to be great things ahead.
