That’s true — except for the part about Tunsil being a “stud.”  He’s a good LT with a better upside.  But if he was actually a stud, Miami would never have let him go.  True stud LTs are gold in this league.

That said, it’s a significant improvement over what they had.

No one is untradeable. Unless your name is Patrick Mahomes or Aaron Donald.

He isn't worth a first round pick.   Why make the trade now?  Season starts in a week.  He will have 2 practices before the season starts.

You don’t think an emerging 25 year old LT is worth a first round pick? Teams are trading and picking up players left and right right now. I don’t think they care how many practices they have before game one of the season.

You trade 2 future 1st Rounders and a 2nd Rounder for 2 guys over 25

It reminds me of a MLB Trade Deadline Desperation deal

A lot of guys come into the league at 22, 23. What’s a couple of years? Tunsil literally just turned 25 two weeks ago. He’s not 34.

    Not a smart trade

feel sorry for @Qwiz in a few years

It may be steep, but to have a franchise LT is something that can’t be understated. Add to the fact that they got Stills too and I’m not mad. The Clowney trade tho? Yeah that’s a completely different story lol.

You too, always fun to have you here! I had Watson as a breakout this year, lets see how he does for you. How are Howard and Scharping looking on the O-Line for you?

I haven’t seen any preseason games, but both have been up and down. It’s a process that’s for sure. We don’t have any Quentin Nelson’s but hopefully we can still do alright haha.

Reports are that the Vikes are looking to trade backup QB Kyle Sloter, a fan favorite. If they do not trade him, he will be cut. I hope not. :(

@oldunclemark Broncos fans may have their wish to bring Sloter back. You think Elway will do that? I think the Colts should sign him.

Not gonna lie, I don’t know much about him, but he must have shown something good if he’s a fan favorite. You’re right in that he could be an option for the Colts. They’ve been working out other QBs and they’re gonna need a reliable back-up for Brissett.

They have made some bad moves in the last year and a half or so. Not addressing their OL is a major concern. Is Bill O'Brien the GM now? @Qwiz

"If Houston wants to learn what to do with a franchise-tagged defensive end, the Seahawks could teach them a thing or two."

They selected two lineman in the draft and looked for options in free agency as well. I wouldn’t say they haven’t at least attempted to address what was our biggest problem last season.

As far as Clowney goes, I don’t like it and the way things transpired has been ridiculed, and for good reason. There’s not going to be an official GM this season so yeah...this L is falling on BOB and the front office.

Long time no see! I think it's not a bad value trade at all, always quite liked Johnson as a RB.

Trent Williams may well be available but at what price? 2nd rounder at least you'd think.

Yep! I thought I’d poke my head in with the season just around the corner. At this point I think the relationship between Williams and Washington is unsalvageable. I hate parting with early round picks on older veterans, but he’s the kind of guy to help make a massive turnaround on a bad unit.

Yeah if we play and you beat us, I hope somehow you can knock them off. I am sick of NE. If the Colts lose tonight, I think you take care of Tennessee at home. A Colts/Texans game is 50/50 IMO.

Yup. We already split so it could go either way if we meet again. Should be fun :default_20smile:

Yeah I posted earlier this week that you guys had the Division won so I already chalked this up. We now have to do our part and win tonight for round 3. Congrats on the Division Title. FWIW if you win next week and then play the Pats, I will root for you guys but like I just posted I doubt you can score enough points to beat them. I am looking way ahead now and shouldn't lmao

Ever since we got Deshaun we’ve been a bigger thorn in their side than we ever have before ha. It hasn’t translated to a win yet but he can score on that defense.

It's all good. We just need to take care of business tonight so we can play them next week. It was wishful thinking to think stinky Blake could beat Houston.

Yeah, there was just no way in hell we were gonna lose to Blake Bortles at home. Maybe we’ll see you guys for a third match next week..
