Holy moly catch the damn ball

The Colts D is the main weakness this year. Hopefully we shore up the D with FA and early draft picks in this year's draft.
The offense was missing Taylor, AR and Smith, so I'm not too worried there. Juju would have been very helpful in run support today as well.

On that last drive the Colts D played the screen play a lot better. Two screen plays made up most of the Bengals offense in the first half.

Yeah, might not be our week. We should be 14-10, but Matt Gay is having a horrific game.
-
The Bengals have just gotten very lucky and had a few broken plays. Let's see if the ball rolls out way a bit more.
Most of their offense has come off two screen plays. Juju being back might have helped there lol.

The Colts have been well ran since the Manning days. And when they begin to deteriorate, Irsay has done good removing the parts that weren't working rather quickly. It's been way more up then down being a Colts fan in my lifetime and I appreciate that.

Hope he comes back as a backup, but I can see him leaving for a similar deal that the Colts offer where he has a chance to compete for the starting role.

The biggest difference between the Colts of this year and of last year is the coaching.

Hey, I hate the whole NIL situation. I oppose it. I think it’s ruined college football for every college outside the top-30. That means roughly 100 schools are getting screwed because they can’t compete with the top schools for $$$$$A real shame.
I don't know much about college football, but I'm pretty sure the top tier players were getting compensated by the top programs under the table anyways. It's nice that it's official now (and it's not like the same 20 some teams didn't dominate before NIL)

A few things can be true.
1) The Colts should pay him this off-season.
2) His talent/ability can be a pivotal part of a championship team
3) The Colts should also strive to get an elite prospect at the position. This thread has a bunch of great posts detailing what separates the truly elite WRs from Pittman ATM.
4) To be fair, he still hasn't had a chance to consistently play with one starting QB for longer than a year.

If we want to do anything at all in the postseason, Pierce is the first guy who has to take a huge step up as a receiving threat. Glad to see him perform today.

Levis continues to be mid. I hope the Titans keep starting him over picking up a good QB in this year's draft. Would love to see how worse he would look without Derrick Henry.

Let's give some shout outs to the defense. 21 sacks in the last 4 games. That's over 5 sacks a game.
Getting back Stewart is going to help the DL out so much as well. Hope the Colts take care of business next week against a Burrow-less Bengals.
-
I can't wait to see more of Will Levis without Derrick Henry going forward.

That's just funny. Titans are incredibly lucky this week.

Surprised we're only down 4 tbh. Goes to show how bad the Titans are.

Lewis is 6/13 for 121…
Lol let them be. They don't like AR for their particular reasons and I'll leave that there.

Disappointed in the pass defense so far…playing a rookie QB and we haven’t done anything to make things difficult from a coverage standpoint. This is the game to get aggressive on blitzing and tight coverage and force Levis to make plays
The one time we do get a turnover, the DB (Blackmon) doesn’t hold on through a hit
Levis is barely throwing at 50 percent. You should be * at the run D lmao.

They legitimately call more deep shots than any other kind of route for Levis lmao. I really hope we don't see Baker 1 on 1 with Hopkins that often today. That's a recipe for disaster.
-
This just seems like a perfect trap game lmao.
-
Glad we have Moss. Also glad it isn't a lower body injury.
-
Getting Juju and Stewart back in the late stretch of the season is going to be very important.
I really love the Taylor-Moss combo that was shown off today.
Steichen is obviously a bright offensive mind. The offense consistently puts out points. Can't wait to see how he builds an offense around AR going forward.

Really bad miss. Been the case since his kid was born. Hope he snaps out of it.
