The last thing I'll say here, the Texans nor the Jags will win more than 5 games this season. Makes it that much worse.

It sucks even worse knowing that the Jags are just attacking the obvious weaknesses on the D over and over and over and over again and the colts do # all to do anything about it...

I don't blame the dline pass rush one bit. Every pass play by the Jags were quick and short.

How did Moore make the Pro Bowl?

Our Run D still looks real good. The jags are abusing the LBs and Moore for the most part in coverage. I doubt they attempt more then a few outside passes.

Yeah, it's just a game. We are fans. Starting off slow is something we shouldn't want. The fact that it has happened every year under Reich for 5 years and has been a huge reason why we haven't won the division or made the playoffs a few times is even worse.

The defense isn't playing well at all, but the Texans are moving the ball through penalties and busted plays by our LBs more than anything else. Leonard coming back will be a godsend.

That's not a silver lining, it's a curse. Unfortunately, the Colts will do better later in the year. They've always started off badly and it's what keeps them out of the playoffs or a fringe team...

The only thing I'll say on Wentz since this is a Colts GameDay thread and y'all can make a thread in the proper spot: He was never horrible like a lot of people said. He's inconsistent for sure, but that's always been his story. A lesser Brett Farve since his major injuries. I still don't think an inconsistent QB wins you anything significant, but some of y'all act like the previous QB is your spiteful ex in how Wentz and even Luck is treated.

I can't blame the WRs that much besides the bad drop by Pierce. We haven't tried to throw the ball down field that much. Reich lives on calling short passes.

The sad part about all this if the Colts lose is that we probably have a far better record than the Texans by the end of the year, if history is any indicator...
