  1. haha I agree. Reggie really surprised me last yr.. I think he was rejuvenated with the new coaching staff.

Yah alot of his catches last year were down right sick. How he continues to snatch that ball at his age is incredible.

  2. He's not a rock solid player, for sure. He got rocked last year (?) and was out with a concussion. Nasty hit, too. And he's not a complete receiver. But he was released by the Raiders really for two reasons: 1) It saves them $5.3m against the cap in 2013, and 2) as a symbolic gesture that they are moving on from the old regime.

He was a bad draft pick, but he's not a bad player. And on a reasonable contract and with a good quarterback, he could be a really decent weapon.

Thats what I say I just hope they do not over pay him just to get Jims wopper? If we can get him cheap Iam all in we could use a little more depth at Wr just incase.

  3. I saw mentioned about DHB not being injured anyone remember this http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000065214/article/darrius-heywardbey-hospitalized-after-neck-

injury                         and here are his dropsies

  4. DHB's hands are anything but great. Punctuation would be nice too. Just saying!

Crap punctuation Iam in trouble.I will apologize beforehand on my typing. It is difficult getting shocked while trying to type.

  5. I kind of like Nathan Palmer...he played WCO with Harnish at Northern Illinois.

The goal of the WCO.....get the WR the ball to catch and run....here is a nice catch and run with the Niners.

Yes YAC is a big part of WCO and with Pep on board I expect him to atleast add some WCO this year and maybe a little more as year goes by.So as to bring everyone up to speed.

  6. People wonder why we keep looking at WR's.  Peyton had Marvin, Reggie, Dallas Clark and Brandon Stokely at one time.  I see no reason why we shouldn't at least try to give Luck the same caliber of weapons.  That means staying on the lookout EVERY year.

Luck has Reggie,TY,Whalen,Fleener and Allen of the names mentioned do you not see good targets?Fleener was dinged up hes going to have a better year.Whalen looked awesome in Pre-season how many thought he was going to make the team?  I did.

  7. We haven't even signed Bey yet and you're already talking about adding more. Why are so many Colts fans obsessed with WR's? There are only so many roster spots, If we sign Bey, we don't need anymore.

Not I if you sit back and watch the games over the last decade the 2 TE sets and RBs have gained alot more attention from GBs.

  8. By my calculations we have 111,066,551 in contracts which would leave us almost 12 mil left.

BTW: I got the numbers from here. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/indianapolis-colts/cap-hit/ I had to add in Franklins contract and then subtract Matt overton's contract since only the top 51 contracts count against the cap. I think this is right.

The $14.84MM cap space has to account for the draft picks which I estimate at $3.7MM.

This also has to account for the average $5MM of cap space GMs like to save during the season to use in case of emergency fills due to injury.  Last season, Grigson used this an approximate $8MM injury fund throughout the season, and was left with a $3.5MM of unused cap space which has now been carried over to this year (and included in the overall $14.84MM).

It also assumes that there will be no more dead cap to account for with releasing players already on contract that had signing bonuses.

It also assumes that the cut-down differential (from a max of 90 to eventually 53) will be for players below the top 51 contract threshold.

Remember, that this has not yet accounted for Aubrayo Franklin's contract.        I got this information from Undecidedfrog for those that remember him he is very smart
