Welker, Wes WR ACT 5'9" 185I have a bad feeling that Colts FO wants to have him compete with Austin Collie in the slot. I really hope they keep Collie around, he has always been a solid receiver. Personally, I don't think Hilton has the size to be a starting WR, but could be used from time to time. What do you think? Did they just draft Collie's replacement or are they just bringing him in to serve in the return game? I'm hearing rumblings of this already on twitter.
T.Y. Hilton 5-10 183 very close

Minus the fact that hes 37 ? http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/1268/player?r=1What happend to wilkins I liked him and thought he was our future ST star

I like both a #1 receiver a CB an DE and OLBWayne replacement or CB #1

Good luck Dallas.

I.m not saying i agree with Jabar but he did have his best year ever last year. No, no, no, no, no... Gaffney has character issues and is past his prime. Jacoby Jones is a returner first receiver second and he could have been a nice addition if the Colts didn't draft Hilton. Hilton is the returner and Jones is not a very good receiver.

Since we did not draft a CB letem ride Thomas is very athletic along with Rucker let's see what real coaching can do for them. Then we can address CB need in FA or draft next year.We need to wait and see this year, then draft and pick up the few pieces we need next.Or drop Freeney sign an OLB. CB.Jones is out there there will be others.I just do not see it taking more than 2 years to be back at top of AFC South. From what it sounds like, he'll be something of a Tweener Safety/Hybrid Corner. I like him in on Nickel packages.....if he pans out that is. I also liked Lefeged last year, and would like to see how Rucker/Thomas stack up in the new regime.

As simply as i can say,better D better O .

Have to agree Donald showed he could run a lil last year and even blocked better. Not saying great, but definately not bad either let's give him a chance to keep his job.For this year anyways.Been saying since i joined Colts will win AFC South in 2013 not that many pieces needed to Whoop Texans. And we have boo koo cap dollars next year and another draft GO Blue 10-6 this year.Had a pretty decent running game last year. Considering that the G-Men had the league's worst rushing attack and we were middle of the road, I'd say your assessment is off base.

I Agree we need to lose alot of DBs on our roster.I think Fenelus and Pellerin have a fantastic chance of making the team.

Just picked up another off waivers whos going?I would be shocked if we carry a 4 man RB corp. You can cut 1 off of there to make room wherever you see fit.

I've also seen and read where the analysis is Luck will have the better year towards the end of season. They see him do nothing but improve as the year rolls around and they take Luck as better season. So we must wait and see.

I do not want Diva Ed Cmon Man every 2 years hes crying to restructure what a distraction to the locker room.revis is free agent next year should wait and see what happens lol

So very few are drafted in later rounds your talking about the 1 in several thousand. Not that there is not that diamond found in late rounds it is the rarity of the find.I care where where players outside the first 2 rounds are drafted. IMO you are way underrating the importance of later rounds ... Brady 6th, Colston 7th, Bethea 6th, McAfee 7th, Carl Nicks 5th, Garcon 6th, etc .... these are just a few late rounders, so where someone goes "outside round 1 or 2" plays a major role in building a team. And prior to 1992 the draft was 12 rounds; so if you look at it from that perspective the 5th or 6th round picks are not as insignificant as you believe.
If your theory was correct we may as well just trade off picks 3-7 every year, since we are going to get just as good of players by just picking up UDFAs.

I totally agree about Rucker and Thomas too many are judging them on the Tampa 2 scheme.Lets see what they can do in man first.IMO i like Ruckers size for CB alot of tall receivers and TEs can play jump ball against most corners these days. And if you had someone minus Webb Boykins or Muggsy to jump for you, your going to lose.I don't think we Know Thomas and Rucker aren't good yet.
Also, If minnifield didn't have knee problems, we might have taken him.
And we probably thought Fleeming would drop to the 4th round.
Corner just didn't work out like we wanted and so we went with the best guy son the boards and guys the coaches have physically meet and watched workout.

Agree but depth we do not need we cannot carry anymore DBs on roster without cuts.So bring on the competition Pags and Grigs I trust will make the right Decisions.Should be clear by now noone is safe so I hope we have a great TC and pick the right 53 needed and make the best PS we can.Top be honest, I think it sounds very Bill Polian-like..where we think we're smart enough to find gems in the undrafted pile..
To be fair...Polian did..
-
True we have so many O-Line signed hope they go with the best in TC not just the ones we have signed.Ben should be played at guard IMO until or if he can go RT.Lots of tackles move to guard when they come to the nfl... this guy has a small chance of making the team anyway
-
Hope everyone has a good TC so Pags can make the right cuts or Grigs.
