Curious how "fast" JT after his ankle injury. Hopefully we get to see week 5.
Here's something I've been wondering about:
After he passes his physical are the Colts allowed to "work out" Taylor to see how fast he is? What if he has lost .2 seconds off his 40 time and can no longer pull away from defensive backs? That would obviously diminish his valuie to the Colts (or any other team).

i don't remember why, but it was pretty much right when AR came out
We got to see French / Fries together. That was cool.

Another game demonstrating Ryan Kelly is replaceable.
Anybody know why Kelly came out.

AR should of just kept running hard and he wouldn’t of got tackled on that second TD.
Why did he slow down? I could not understand why he pulled up as if he could walk in .

Sure, JT out there playing 4D chess! For a “very smart human,” he’s made a lot of dumb moves this off-season.
He's human...I agree with that.

They are. If JT doesn't play this season, his compensation gets cut drastically, and he doesn't become eligible for free agency. Nick Bosa and Chris Jones are getting fined, and won't get paid if they don't show up.
Can you clarify what was said earlier, to the effect that JT can come off PUP and play just one game, and then shut it down?

Money paid to one player takes away from another player, not the owner.
This gets overlooked in the discussion.
What is also overlooked is that a "fair" contract cuts both ways : Is it "fair" that the Colts are contractually bound to pay players who fail to perform to the level of their guaranteed money?...Can the Colts now tell Nelson, Kelly or Leonard "We want a new contract with you that reflects your recent performance and current value to the team " ? ...." and until you agree to a fair contract, we will refuse to pay you under the current contract." ?
So, as long as the team is required to (over) pay, an (under) paid player should be required to play.

Maybe I'm just mean but i'd franchise tag him for as long as I could even if he was sitting the bench. It would help prevent other players from thinking that trying to hold the team hostage is an acceptable path to take.
Unless another team offered fair value in a trade.
It's not mean. It's business...

The OP asks what stats are acceptable ...
I would certainly "accept" a first season of a one to one TD to INT ratio....say, 18 TD to 18 INT. I think this would be "acceptable" to all of us...Then in year two we could "expect" a better ratio...say, 23 TD to 16 INT.

Yes, there is. He's "injured," remember?
He's only injured with the Colts....With a new team he is not injured.

Of course not. Taylor wanted a big guaranteed laced contract from us, and has used maximum pressure including fan and peer, to get it. All without taking his physical, that he was asked to come in for.
The rubber Now hits the road whether he can pass another team's physical.
Perhaps you are new to this. Trades do fall through because of failed physicals.
But does Taylor not know whether or not he will pass a physical?....Does he not know if he is healthy, and good to go?

Taylor is being shopped as 100% and ready to go to get a deal done. With a required physical any team will want, it has to come back clean, or no deal.
Does this not prove that Taylor is now 100% healthy?

I don’t think SS is sold on JTs skill set in what he’s trying to do.
It may very well be that JT isn't sold on it either which may have more to do with his desire to leave than we realize.
Taylor is a home run hitter. He doesn't want to bunt the guy on first over to second. He doesn't want to slap a sacrifice fly into right field.
He wants the hand-off. He wants to hit the hole hard. He wants to burst into the second level, break a tackle and take it to the house.
He wants to play football the way he likes it.

Hines is out for the year
He is? I didn't know that. Injured in camp?

Commanders, Cards, Panthers, or Bucs is what we would want if it's a 1st rounder
I think Reich would make a run for Hines who would be cheaper, but compared to Taylor, interchangeable.

Going to speculate and say.
He made the team out to look like liars again(Irsay saying he was ready for camp) and didn't show up to travel to Philly with them.
Kinda jives with the situation.
Do we know this to be true?

All I know is this is a evaluation year so I am not even that mad if he gets traded. We will find another great back next year.
I just want to know how it got to this point. Something weird had to go down for Taylor to start acting like this.
Maybe it's just as simple as Taylor wanting to play for a contender now...Doesn't want to participate in the growing pains of AR.
Maybe he's just using money as an excuse to get out.

That isn’t how a media person would phrase it. They would ask what happened to cause a setback. Especially after Irsay said he was ready.
But this is what fans want to know....Is he still hurt?...I don't care about the past and who said what when..
I want to know if Taylor can play or not...Isn't that what we all want to know?

"What is the current condition and prognosis of JT's surgically repaired ankle?"
This is a loaded question only if there's nothing wrong with it.

RBBC consisting of Hull, Moss, and Drake would be perfectly fine.
Perhaps this is where a Zavier Scott or Jake Funk slip into the opening day mix with Moss's injury and JT's ego.......
Put #49 on Funk and run the old Walsh offense.

But ultimately didn’t. Which is my point. I’d dump Kelly for any offer I’d get, even if that’s the last pick in the 7th round next year
I know that in reference to Moore and Kelly, Ballard said he had trade inquiries. But I question that anyone actually wanted Kelly and his contract. I personally believe that it's more a matter of the Colts being stuck with him, and they're hoping he will bounce back. Just my opinion.

If they continue to play well I will gladly admitt I was wrong about them both needing to be replaced
