I think my heart skips a beat every time Minshew does not immediately release the ball on his drop back. With each passing millisecond, It is the feeling of the pin being pulled from a grenade and diving for cover.
He looks nervous in the pocket and it makes me nervous to watch him....

Moss replacing Hines is a big difference.

I don’t see it. He’s Jay Cutler.
Exactly my thoughts... When I saw a rookie QB chewing out a veteran player in front of everyone I said to myself, " I sure am glad the Colts did not draft this guy." And he reminded me of Cutler.

I don’t think this is anything bad. Seems some here forget the squabbles manning had.
I doubt Manning did it when he was a rookie...only after he had earned the right.

We could also look at it another way:
What would the record be if it were Brisset, Wentz, or Ryan?
I for one prefer Minshew over those three guys...and maybe even Rivers because of his lack of mobility.

Per nfl dot com, Irsay says AR out for season
will be probably be having surgery
figured this warranted it’s own thread
This article states that Jim Irsay said, " I mean, it's not definite"..........
This article does not say that AR is out for the season...(I know he probably WILL be)...But this report is not exactly the final word on the matter...
"probably"..."in all likelyhood"..."not definite"....Did anyone read the article?

Jim is a great guy who believes in giving back because he's been blessed in life.
My Jim story....
He was kind enough to sign my afcccg ticket in my avatar or whatever it's called.
He actually waited for me to go up to my office when I worked in the same building as the NFL headquarters on Park Ave in nyc. It's a 40 floor bldg with tons of companies in it.
He actually waited in the lobby for me as I ran to the elevator and got upstairs. I always had a few Colts things to sign just in case I ever ran into any Colts players/front office people.
The NFL owners would always meet there and any famous case would have players there routinely. I remember seeing Brady arrive for a deflategate meeting once. I should've pushed him down the stairs. I would've been a colts.com legend...
I burst out laughing...Thanks for that!

Just shows you players are people too and they go through circumstances in life that we all do. We should probably have a little bit more grace and understanding.
Personally, I think Kelly's poor play was do to an accumuation of physical injuries...and he is finally healthy.
He was playing poorly long before his personal tragedy.

It’s just a rumor. I’d wager it doesn’t happen.
I don't believe it either.

I was under the impression he was getting 3 opinions. Don't know who the three are.
Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard.

Have they said anything about when they expect Richardson back? I understand that he is out at least 4 weeks because of the IR but any news on the timeline beyond that?
Coach said as of now there's no timeline...

Different skill sets running different plays...But overall chance to win about the same.

Can you get a hotdog at the game in Frankfurt?

The thing is, if he had done like others, kept his head down, proven he was healthy, odds are he’d had a market setting contract by years end. If not sooner.
Agreed...If he had played the Colts are most likely a surprizing 3-0 and serious talks of an extention are now in place.

I read the Ravens had 1 flag for 5 yards, is that correct?
I think so...And does anybody believe that for 70 minutes of football the Ravens committed only ONE penalty?

Moss.
He's a quality RB. What he lacks in the more popular athletic traits I think he makes up for with vision and balance. Body control to avoid getting a direct hit, and he was able to make that catch. I thought he was a good RB in BUF, but I think they got tired of him getting hurt and being unavailable.
Did you see the play near the left sideline where Moss got mauled about 5 yds behind the LOS. He stayed on his feet running backwards back to the LOS, turns around and runs strait for a 5 yd gain....IMO he played a great game.

According to the guys at PFF the Ravens blitzed 32 times out of 49 drop backs.
Colts offense played very well considering they were blitzed 32 times...No fumbles. No INTs.

Looking back that safety Minshew took might of been a good thing. Or ravens might of ended up right in colts territory after we punt out of the end zone.
I was thinking the same thing...the safety ended up being better than punting

I'm surprized at so many negative comments..as if the win was a fluke....
The Ravens are a good team with good players...Were you expecting the Colts to dominate the whole game?

The 40 point drop in PFF grade from Kelly to French results in a 40 point win for Baltimore.
Ravens 43 Colts 3

He played the entire second half last week. There wasn’t really a noticeable difference.
Colts offense sputtered in the 2nd half..Not saying it was all on French. But he may have been a factor

Bigger problem is the Colts will be playing their 3rd string center...I will be surprised if the offense has much success.

Zack Moss grade was 63.6 which surprises me a little because on a few runs he got some tough yards.

A Happy Birthday to Philip Rivers

It was reported recently that he just had his 10th child.
He now has enough kids to field an entire offense. And his wife can be his back up QB.
