  1. Smith would have been my choice there, but if you're in a position for BPA: Take BPA. My personal board for BPA was Barkley, Chubb, Nelson, Fitzpatrick, Darnold, then Smith.

Nelson was there, and we don't need Fitz (We drafted Hooker last year) and we dont need Darnold, for obvious. Nelson is IMO the BPA here. If Bills offered x2 First Round and their last pick in the 2nd, I might have traded out. I wouldnt take the 12th overall and x2 more 2nd rounders. You're already getting a bevy of 2nd round talent. Take the #1s

  2. Mayfield going #1 would be ideal, IMO. Puts Darnold in the #2 spot IMO, Jets get Rosen.

Browns at #4, I think they take Barkley.

I think Denver either takes a QB or trades back. They need LOTS of help, much like the Colts.

Chubb would be there at 6 here. If we do trade back, I still want Smith, but I think Tampa picks up the best defensive player on the board.

  3. Top 5 talent cornerstone type players on the board, you take them. I laugh each and every time I see us being mocked to fall further back in the draft. when its clear the Colts need all the absolute top flight play makers we can get. Do those play makers exist further back? 100%. But, its easier to hit the top than project what may or may not happen (See Edmunds. Freak of Nature, but does have troubling traits which MUST be worked out)

They said they are going to incorporate some 3 tight end looks also.

With the right 3rd TE, this could be devastating from a defensive standpoint. Most team struggle to get 1-2 defenders who can legit cover a rangy TE. I think w/ the 3 TE's you'll see either TY in motion or a TE in motion to TY's side of the ball, allowing him to reset behind the LOS, getting more free releases.

  5. Id love to see us go to a 2 WR 2TE 1 RB offense. The formations and motions you can use in this setup would be amazing, between motioning in and out of Trips, to a H Back, to flipping the field, etc. Would also mitigate the requirement of getting another WR in FA or the draft early.

  6. Heres John's first broadcast in a game

"Well, you see the Bears are up 3 points here in the 3rd quarter, the smart thing to do is run the clock out and play defense with field position"

The trading of JPP, made it clear that Giants do not plan to trade or take a QB.  Giants now need a RB, O-line, and now a DE.

....maybe DE. They were in dire cap need, and while dumping JPP only freed up 2.5mil this year, it freed up 15mil+ next season I believe and they have some key players coming up next year they have to resign. I do think the Giants will take BPA, as they need all the things you mentioned. I think they'll take Barkley over Chubb, Chubb over Nelson. So, heres to hoping the Browns take a QB first!
