  1. You have to admit, (but won't) some of your ideas are half-baked. And then you critique other half-baked ideas. It's just funny, that's all.

hey, hey I've made some stupid posts in the past, on the old forum. I've also never made any remarks like this with any thread. Then I make one little comment and everyone's all over me, like I commited a murder. I'm an active member on this site, and your going to be hard pressed to find a stupid comment made by me on this new forum. Plus I didn't make that many stupid threads on the old forum.

  2. I agree. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Andy, I love ya as a colts fan, but...

Btw, I've been here on the forums since day one. As in many years ago. It's up to you to figure out who I am. On second thought, don't waste your time. I change names every time the forum changes, and no one remembers me. That might be good in a way. ;)

what are you trying to say? so nobody takes me seriously here...

  3. We have 2 of the best in the league, but after that???? Besides, he'll play inside most of the time.

We have Jerry Hughes, Keyunta Dawson, and if he plays DE this year, Eric Foster. We have 2 all star starters, plus good depth. He's an okay player, but a waste of a roster spot.

  4. I know the Colts aren't big in the free agency, but they have around 8-11 million dollars just lying around. We just lost Clint Session, and we have a bunch of backups fighting for the starting job. We definitely have depth at LB, but we don't have a competent Sam linebacker. Ernie is perfect for the Colts, he's very fast for a linebacker, great tackler, and has good hands. He also has 20 dogs, but that's very irrelevant. Anyways, he's probably going to ask for about 3 - 4.25M dollars in cap space, and I think the Colts can really benefit from his acquisition. Give the guy a 2 year, 8.5M dollar contract... I really hope the Colts can go out of their comfort zone and make a signing in the free agency.

  5. We have lost the following veterans this offseason (am I missing anyone significant)

    1. Bob Sanders

    2. Clint Session

    3. Charlie Johnson

    4. Kelvin Hayden

    5. Daniel Muir

What is the game plan for replacement? Without signing Johnson we are under the cap. What will we do with the little cap room we have left?

You be surprised how much space we've gained. Sanders = +5M, Session = +600K, Johnson = +2 to 3M, Kelvin Hayden = + 9M, Muir = +500K, That's about 16M to 17M, then you minus 4M because of Manning's contract. Then you have Diem's paycut, which is +1M. Joseph Addai is probably -3M. Then you have Devan, and all those other guys, which is probably about - 1M in cap space. This leaves us with around 9 - 10M dollars in extra cap space. I don't know how much we had beforehand, but we're definitely in the green this time around.

  6. Who do you have starting at RG? I'm guessing it will be Devan and McClendon to start the season. Hopefully Ijalana can learn the position and start eventually.

    I see it being:

    Castonzo

    Pollak or Devan

    Saturday

    Ijalana

    Diem

Ijalana is very versatile making it possible for him to play RG. USually tackles don't do well when moved to guard, but because he is versatile he can play it, and play it well. That right side of the line should be solid this year, the left side is a question mark.

  7. Well I think the Colts and the Patriots are always contenders. I think the Chiefs are definitely becoming contenders, and until Ray Lewis is gone, the Ravens are too. The Steelers and the Jets are question marks. The Steelers never do well a year after being the SB, but I think they're still contenders. The Jets are losing their best players, Cromartie, Edwards, and LT gone, plus their D is getting older. I don't know, plus their QB is streaky and inconsistent. I think the team to watch out for is the Dolphins. So to answer your question: I think the Colts and the Patriots are teams to beat in the AFC

  8. Who do you think starts? You have to choose between Mike Pollak, Kyle Devan, Jacques McClendon, Jamey Richard, or Jaimie Thomas. Do you think the Colts go out and get a free agent?

  9. Tommie Harris is working out for the Patriots tomorrow. So they possibly may get Harris to go with Haynesworth and they already have Wilfork of course. Kinda hard for me to understand why the Colts apparently are doing absolutely nothing here. We need some help at DT.

That's funny Harris, Hayenesworth, and Wilfork all for the NT job. Plus their a 3-4 defense. Something can't fit...
