We sucked for years, then Peyton Manning came and we were contenders for 14 years. He gets injured and that year we sucked again, so bed that we got Luck. We went from worst to 11-5 and back in the playoffs and in the hunt again. If you have a chance to get a franchise QB you do it, the rewards far out weight the payment.

Both the Titans and Rams were also over the cap, yet both made some big moves. I know free agency is fools gold, but come on, at least attempt to fill some needs. Hooper gets cut, we don't even make an attempt. WR and WR gets plucked up, we hope TY will come back. And Pryor may be a very good fill-in, but if he's penciled in as the starter we're in trouble.

Going into FA, we needed, WR's (at least 2), a TE, a QB (knew Wentz was gone), CB depth, and OT that's not a speed bump, and a quality DE. There was a lot to choose from and we have a ton more cap than any other team. SO, we filled the DE spot and made the CB spot thinner. We did NOTHING while just about every team with much less got better. Ballard must be reading his press clipping about how brilliant he is, because I don't think he thinks he needs anything but the draft..

The plan is simple, wait for Watson to make his move they make ours. If he picks the Saints it's Winston. If it's the Falcons, it's a trade for Ryan. Seems like Jimmy G is off the table, unless the Panthers jump in and grab one of the others first.

And yet, with well under half the cap space we have they get it done. Meanwhile, we wait for the discount bin to fill up..

And the Rams didn't have any, yet they fill a position of need while we wait confident in our huge cap space number..

Chark, 1 year 10 million is a very good value. Size and speed, and for a 1 year "prove it" deal that's great value. That's the kind of deal I was expecting for us, at minimum....

Funny how teams like the Bucs and Chief's are always over the cap, yet they seem to sigh a lot more top guys then we do. Carlton Davis and Jenson sign big contracts, Goodman tagged, and Brady back? We get MAC for 6 million per..... So much for "all in"..

Don't know where he got that, the team he came from, the Chief's, sign top talent all the time..

Seeing all this talent get gobbled up, and we sign MAC for 6 million a year. Nice guy, but he's not a needle mover..

Chark is 100% Raiders, he even posted pictures of his current trip to Las Vegas talking about how amazing it would/will be to play there.

Jags are signing Kirk. Jags get 4 impact players, we get air, like always..

Mitch T to the Steelers is strange. I doubt he's starter material for them and they already have 2 back ups. Well, he's better than Rudolph..
