What is your analysis of him? He certainly didn't start off well, but how was he overall? He was a second round pick, so he does have potential
He had a stretch in where he played very well at RT, and then faded after he signed a new contract in 09 or 2010. He also had some back issues. Better run blocker than pass blocker. Maybe a new situation can help him out.

isnt that the same guy that allowed osi to sack mcnabb 6 times on monday night football
Yep. His first career start. As bad as he was that night, Reid did him no favors leaving him on an island all night.

I don't think the league should get involved. I think teams should be left in charge to deal with it how they see fit. If it results in a player being released, I don't think GMs should be forbidden from signing someone they feel can better their team. Obviously, they know the player's situation and how he may deal with future issues should he become unhappy with his new contract.

He was good for Dallas last year. I like that the Jags signed him away regardless of cost.

For the first time in the Andy Reid era, the Eagles miss the post season in consecutive seasons and Reid finally gets fired.
-
can you tell me they havent?
Can't prove a negative. It's also not on me to show someone else hasn't. If proof comes out that another team has, then it needs to be dealt with just the same.

i dont agree with the late hits and i would like our players to be safe, but thats impossible. football is a violent and reckless sport. i just dont find it fair that the saints are the only ones getting blame when the majority of defenses do it.
You're saying the majority of defenses are paid (by players AND coaches) to intentionally injure players? Can you back that up?
-
No, it's actually aired quite soon after the real events.
Correct. The show is a recap of the previous week's events, including the preseason game played.
-
Andy Reid gets fired (hopefully).
-
I hope the Eagles.
Reid would never allow it to happen.
-
I wouldn't be shocked if it's a divisional game.
Eagles - Second in the division. Have also won both meetings in MetLife Stadium, last year with Vince Young under center.
Redskins - Swept them last year.
Cowboys - Ended the season at MetLife Stadium with the division on the line.
Story lines to build up the game no matter what.

I hope I'm wrong, but I see a close game throughout, with the Giants scoring late to make the score look more one sided than the game was.
Giants 37
Pats 24

I don't watch it either way, at least not all the way through, but I like it during the off week. I like that the season ends with the Super Bowl.
-
Did you have to type that..I mean really type it. Seeing how I respect your predictions. Thank god you're not perfect with them;-)
! I really hope I am wrong. Wildcard week, I got both AFC games wrong, and both NFC games right. Divisional round, I got both AFC games right, and both NFC games wrong. Last week, I got both games right. Hopefully, I'm due to be wrong on the Super Bowl.
-
I hope the Pats blow them out, but I see a relatively high scoring game with the Giants scoring a late TD to make a close one score game throughout look more lopsided than it really was.
Giants 37
Pats 24.

After watching the end of the game again last night, I paid closer attention to Cundiff running out late, and I thought to myself, man, what could have happened if they did call a timeout? Smart move by Belichick.
-
I thought they also got the spot wrong on the Bradshaw or Jacobs run on 3rd down. At the worst, it was inches short, not close to a full yard, but I thought he had the 1st down.

I picked the Ravens to win the AFC going through NE, but they better play a lot better than they played today. I know Houston only put up 13 points, but they moved the ball better than I expected. If Brady moves the ball, the Pats will turn those drives into points.
-
I hope the Pats smoke them.

Not the best way to start a legacy. Like the old Head and Shoulders commercials used to say, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Exactly how I felt about the Eagles when they played the Cowboys this year, lol. Do you think Vick is going to bounce back next year or have defenses figured him out compared to his success last year?
I think Vick is basically a "what you see is what you get" type of player. I think he's a much better QB than what he was in Atlanta, but I don't know he'll ever be the dynamic player he was to start the 2010 season when he was in the running for MVP honors. I'm not the worlds biggest Andy Reid fan, but he is usually good with QB's so I think Vick will always be a good player as long as Reid is his coach, but I don't think he'll ever be much more. It would not bother me if we used our first round pick on a QB. Vick isn't our biggest problem, but he's not the solution either.

Saints.
Pats.
Ravens.
Packers.
Those are my picks, but any outcome from any of the 4 games would not shock me. I can envision Denver, Houston, San Fran, or NY winning their games. In fact, going forward, no outcome would shock me in any possible game, aside from Houston beating NO or Green Bay in the Super Bowl.

Obviously, I can never root for Eli as long as he wears that jersey, aside from 2 games against Dallas every year, in which case, the Giants become my second favorite team for the day, but he is undoubtedly the best QB in the division, and with him cutting his turnovers down this season, he has had a terrific season.
-
I think those types of incentives are common in QB contracts. They'll get a certain amount if they win a playoff game, or 2, So much more if they win a Super Bowl. So much more if they make a Pro Bowl. I could be wrong, but I think Vick's contract has similar clauses, which he's obviously not collecting on.

Nothing against Garçon but I do hope he busts in Washington.
