I will make it perfectly clear for you. number 1. he has a pulse.
2. he likes Manning a lot
3. he has been to the superbowl
4. he would tell the polians to do thier job, let him do his
5. he has a pulse, an attitude, he loves the game.

Its finally time for the owner to take action. He has riden the Polian express to the end of its line. Bill Polian has successfully pushed his son into a NFL job. He has down graded the coaching staff. I say he has ridden Peytons coatails long enough. Mr. Irsay needs to clean house up stairs. At least the players will see he still wants to win and is still the top dog. From top to bottom, no one really knows who is calling the shots. Polian has been the shot caller long enough.
I have worked for companies run just like this. It was very tough to go to work every day and give your best. Ultimately you give up and leave.

Great post! I'm glad there are some that do get it.You don't get it, do you. The Colts have been in a free fall for the last couple years. The signs are obvious if you know what to look for. Had it not been for Peyton's heroics last year, the colts would not have even made the playoffs. The year prior, they should have lost 4-6 games, except Peyton came to the rescue. This is not one bad season, this is the end result of failed coaching and management. What they did in the past is meaningless if they are trending towards the toilet, which they most certainly are. Open your eyes, for gads sake.

Get this. POLIAN IS THE FREAKING PROBLEM HERE. His drafting of small players, his hireing of inept coaching, nepatism (pardon the spelling)ie Chris Polian who is a puppet olso. Take Manning out of the equation and Polian is a failure here as he was everywhere else. I believe half the folks on this forum could indeed do a better job.I don't know if Caldwell is the answer or not, I just know given how Polian and Irsay run a franchise, that Caldwell won't be gone after this season. Is that the right call? I don't know, what I do know is that I trust Polian's decision making process on running a NFL team over anyone here on this forum.

The fact that nothing will be different next year will be the shame of it all. Peyton plays with that offensive line next year and the defense remains the same. Peyton wont last the season.

so when they showed caldwell applauding the miscommunication an recovery by the saints player isnt a coaching problem? you do know coaching puts the players on the field whether the players are good or bad.

Between Bert Jones and Harbaugh's watch was a complete waste of time. I would listen in now and again but always knew what the outcome would be. Have not missed a game since Harbaugh came along until now. I used to miss weddings to watch the colts games on TV. This year is a write off. Lets get back Vince Tobin and Ted Marchibroda! He took us from worst to first 3 times in his career.

It really would not help much throwing another coach into this mess. Yes, it would feel good knowing these coaches would not haunt us next year. It is the system and a lot of subpar players and your best player that used to cover up a lot of issues not being on the field is the problem. If you put in the patriots coaching staff with what Polian has given them to work with, they would suck olso. Got to get better players in here and a competent coaching staff. Bill Cower said he would coach again if there was a team where he could be successful right away. I guess that rules out Indy.

If your offense goes 3 and out, The defense has a chance to do the same. Do they always have to give up 13 play drives. Thats like letting someone kick you until they get tired. They stopped the run against pittsburg and had a chance. They did not come close to doing that today.

There are too many holes to fill using the draft only. If this is all about peytons remaining years, say 4, Then they need free agency help like right now. If the future is whats important, then you draft Luck if available. New CBR rules make him affordable to ride the bench for 3 years and be a rodgers situation. Bring in a new DC and switch to a 3-4. Draft OL once again. Of course, if everyone can't stay healthy, then all I have written is a waste of time anyway. Next year will ride on coaching changes, if there is none, then I will save 300 bucks direct TV.

Polian will trade down to 28th in every round and draft at least 3 under sized centers and two blocking tight ends. Then he will leave to the team that drafted luck in the first place.

The game has passed him by, just like Al Davis. He has always been good at putting together a team where ever he has gone. This helps with quarterbacks that he has had running those teams. He olso used to have good defensive coordinators or defensive minded coaches. Now he is done. The owner tweets all day, The coach is a token yes man, Coyer never was good. Remember, the coaches don't play but, they do pick who does. And this is unacceptable.

Back in the harbaugh days, The Colts were masters of making adjustments and pulling out games time after time. Now it seems the team comes in and plays one way all day. No changes. Same defense all day long. Hey, maybe the don't have the personnel to make changes? Who's fault is that? We can't find DT's that can hold thier ground. Who's fault is that? Where is tommy Harris? How about the trainers, Why cant these guys stay healthy.? Painter is possibly the only guy I would by a drink for and maybe MacAffe olso. OL , DL and defensive backs, you just plain out suck. Why is Thomas inactive? Maybe to make room for the club to dress 20 offensive lineman or a bunch of Undrafted free agents.

Lacy most have racey pictures of Polian at some hotel. What else could it be? The boy cant play. Before all the posters start asking " how long have you been an NFL coach or GM ?" It doesn't take much to see that this years product stinks on the football field. We have been blown out, we have been nipped in the end, now any amount of lead will not be enough. Irsay's twitter says give me some game updates". Here is one for you sir, Your football team sucks!!!!!!.

Painter is doing well. The defense looks sharp. Colts are winning 24 -0 . I get an emergency call to go help a friend, come back after the game was over and I see my wife with a discusted look on her face. I say what happened? She says what do you think? I say no they didn't. She olso told me Dallas clark, who is her 2nd favorite Colt behind Peyton, Could not catch a cold at a free clinic! Who is up next?

Colts went with the idea of speed and mass bodies on the ball and you can't argue with the overall success of the franchise over the past decade.
Once again, who has been the QB over the last decade? Without the ability to outscore your opponent, it does not work. Once the playoffs start, you play the best defensive teams. the best defense will kill the best offenses most of the time. Thats why out of all the playoff appearences, only two times were the colts not one and done. Build a quality defense!

I always wondered why the team let June, Washington and others go only to keep Brackett and resighn him to boot. He always seemed a little slow.
