  1. You can be a supporter and not like what is going go. When you watch the Colts, do you always like what you see from the team?

Do you always verbally encourage the team when things go wrong? How about this... what was your reaction when KC came back last year and the Colts were driving with time running out. Garcon makes the grab and holds the football up in the air (not foreward for extra yards) UP IN THE AIR and gets it knocked out of his his hand? You may not have booed, but did you mumble displeasurements? My words were "Are you kidding me" and it wasn't a mumble. Does that make me less of a supporter than one who would of clapped and said "It's Ok guys! we'll get 'em next time".? I don't think so....

I obviously was not happy with that. I'm sure I responded with some sort of expletive. That being said, if I were at the game in person I would not start booing. I don't see how fans booing at that stuff will make anything better. That is all. Also just to add even though this is off the topic, I am glad we did not resign Garcon. He wanted too much money IMO. He is not worth a #1 receivers salary, IMO. Had he came back for a more reasonable salary then o.k.

  2. I think everyone is affected by weather. It does not matter who they are. Deep down everyone (including those critics) know that Peyton will be just fine. He prepares and studies like no other, He is the hardest working person to play the game. There are too many people that confirm that. He is always doing whatever it takes to be his best no matter what. He wants to win a championship. Do people really think that he would have something like weather compromise that? Yeah I don't think so either. I really find it insane that Colt fans are arguing this. His worst games may have been in bad weather and I think someone earlier stated that was against some very good teams. So what, who has there best game in terrible weather? The point is he is going to be fine no matter the weather. If he could not play well in Denver he would not have chosen Denver to play for. He is the smartest qb in the league,...he knows what he is doing. Why would anyone question his decision? I think Peyton knows what is best for him.

  3. How is booing supportive? I do not get that at all. When you are booing it means you do not like what is going on. So you are showing you don't like something which would mean you do not support it. So I guess you are saying when someone has a bad game you boo them to show your supportive of them? How does that work? They obviously know they are having a bad game. I don't think they need your help to figure that out. That does not make sense.

When Peyton played if he was having a bad game I would not boo him. I would trust that he would come back next game ready to go. Our new rookie qb will need time to adjust to the NFL, we need to give him that time and wait and see how he does. I am sure it will not be pretty at first but that is how it goes. I know Peyton threw a lot of interceptions his first season. That does not reflect upon his effort, work ethic, desire, determination to be better, etc. Just because someone may not start out great does not mean they do not work hard. Your previous comments seem to insinuate that is how it is

. All I am trying to say is I think it is rude to boo someone without giving them the proper time to adjust. This whole team is going to pretty much be new. The best thing we can do as fans is support them and I just don't think that includes booing them. That is JMO.

  4. I think it is important for all of us colts fans to support out team! No matter what happens we need to be here for our team. I am optimistic about the future. I think it will definitely take some time and will not be great right away. I think everyone knows that.

We need to go into this new season with no expectations. Go into it hoping for the best and see what happens. This could be a very exciting time.

We are so used to winning and a lot of times winning big. Being in games and not having to worry about who is going to win. Always knowing we will go to the playoffs.

We could end up seeing some great games in the future as this team comes together. I think it definitely can not be worse then last year. If we can get through this past season we can make it through all this. I will be disappointed if I hear people booing our rookie qb. We are better then that as fans.

  5. My comments weren't directed at you Kayla. I know were you stood during all this ;)

I just needed to use what you said to illuminate a point Ive been trying to make here for some time.

    177.5 or 178. Cant remember.

Hey its all good, just makin sure! lol. That's great on his QB rating, but so far has not transitioned to the NFL. I actually really do like Tebow though, he is a nice kid. I wish him the best of luck as well. I just question his future as a starting qb is all. Who knows, he is a hard worker and gives it his all. I at least admire that about him.

  6. Tebow finished the regular season with the second highest passing efficiency in the nation when he was at Florida.

We could be saying the very same thing about Andrew Luck in 3 years as we're saying about Teebow now.

Hope the same folks that couldn't wait to get this guy 100% reps don't mind separating him from the Colts roster when the time comes.

What was Tebow's QB rating? Just sayin. Anyway I have never stated I think Luck will be amazing or give us a lot of wins. I have said many times, college and NFL are not the same.I will have to wait for Luck to prove himself to me. If after 3 years he is no good, I would be fine with giving him the boot. I do not want to pay people who do not produce. I see nothing wrong with that.

  7. Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker - watch out for these guys with Peyton under center... maybe they add Dallas Clark...

I was going to say the same thing! And remember, Peyton makes everyone around him better. He makes mediocre players look like stars. Denver made it to a playoff game with Tebow, so I am not worried about Peyton at all. They should use Tebow as a fullback, lol.

  8. I am happy for Peyton, I wish him the best in Denver. I really think he can win a ring there! Tebow can go be a fullback somewhere. I don't know if he will ever have the skills to be an NFL starting qb. I think he is a nice guy and do not dislike him. I think his fans are crazy and do not base there loyalty off his qb talent, they just like the guy! Denver got to a playoff game with him though so just think about Peyton being there. They said they will draft to put people around him to help him. I think Denver fans should be very excited! They are going to a super bowl sometime in the near future! Now we as Colts fans, we can focus on our team! That sounds good to me!

  9. Well that sure is weird to look at isn't it? I wish Peyton nothing but the best, I hope he gets another ring there! I will be rooting for 2 teams this year. First of course the Colts, they will always be first, but Denver now for Peyton!

  10. I really don't blame Alex Smith for talking to another team. I would be ticked off if I was him. I know he has not had the best history as a qb but he did have his best year last year. Then them trying to replace him, would probably feel like a slap in the face. That being said, I can't blame anyone for wanting Manning, GOAT! Alex Smith will never play like Peyton.

  11. i just wonder if they are going to trade Freeney or is there some injury no one knows about except certain people? I dont know, I just find it odd he is so quiet about everything. I feel like I just keep hearing speculation and no real words from Freeney himself.

  12. I love that Mathis is so pumped up about this. If Freeney really wants to be a Colt and play on this team then he will do it. Hard work, dedication, he could do it, if he really wants to. Does he want to? I have no idea. I do think he should negotiate on his contract though. I don't want to get all into something when we don't really know anything yet. If Pagano wants him then he will have a spot for him. I have faith that Pagano knows what he is doing. I do have to watch the Bengals play they Ravens every year with where I live. That defense has been nothing to joke about.

  13. Wow!.....just when you think you have heard it all,.......BAM! HA ha! This is seriously the funniest stuff I have read for quite some time! I don't know if the poster is serious or not. If you are serious that is kind of sad. Either way I got a few good laughs reading this! I will go drink me some drinks on this St Patty's Day,....no one worry though. I will not come back to make crazy posts like this. If it was a joke, thank you for the good laughs.

  14. I agree its nice to have confidence. i am one who is always saying how excited I am for the new defense. I am excited but I know we will more then likely not have a winning season. Too many new people, new things, new everything. Eventually we could be pretty awesome, not next season though. These things take time.
