  1. Tasting the Kool-ade is a reference to how Luck performs with his pro day. No matter how he performs, it wont sway his supporters' opinion of him. (On Topic)

I was just kidding around, I knew what you meant:)
  2. Lol I can guarantee you if he was it would be Griffin going first... nothing separates them other than they ran different offenses. N that doesn't matter one bit in the NFL.

I can get into all this its a background factor thing but, yea its all good they both are great prospects

    That is absolutely *ic.

I'm out of likes but I totally agree. Did not want to argue with anyone but quite ridiculous to me.

  3. Great Post!!! Sometimes we all type before we think. I know I have been one of them. But we all need to think before we type! I think everything happened so fast in so little time. It was just like a whirlwind. The Polians and Caldwell no shock. But then there was the Manning talk would they or won't they? Then he got released then the house was coming down. All of the well known players the fans favorites were getting their pink slips. Everything was happening so fast. Now as everything is calming down, calmer heads appear. I don;t think it was as bad here as it got on other Colts msg boards.

Thank you. I can't say that I have never typed without thinking. I think most people have there moments, we are all human. I try to remember that. i have not really seen anything that was that bad. A couple times I have seen things that were not so nice but ended up edited or removed. I think the mod team does a great job and deserves some compliments. I have seen other sites that are not good. This one is great in my opinion.

  4. I think it is important for everyone to try and get along as civil adults. I have not been perfect on here, people have pushed my buttons, but I do not believe I have really said anything that has really bothered anyone. If I feel someone is picking on me I will stand up for myself, but try to in a respectful manner, without name calling and all those ridiculous things.

I am all for friendly banter and try to make light of subjects when they start getting tense. I guess people are moody with everything that has happened, Colts fans are not used to all this change, I try to remember that everyone deals with things in there own way, Some still have some raw emotions about everything, Its ok, we are all different. i think people are commenting on things with raw emotion and not really thinking before they post.

  5. Luck going to Lettings can or knowing a system wont help him cause Peyton isn't there and it Wont be the same system. But yes he is partly the safer pick because he's white.. fact is most very successful QBs are white and they tend to be more well reserved... and its true.. but Griffins military background makes him different as well as his demeanor.

Ask vick, Vince, Russell, troy smith that.... none of them are like Griffin other than the fact that they can scramble, not to mention Vicksburg arm.

If Luck was exactly the same as he is now but black it would make no difference. We would still be picking Luck. Sorry just do not want this to turn into some race debate. I don't think it has a thing to do with it. We all have different opinions though, it's all good. It is true most of the successful qb's are white but I don't think it matters.

  6. Irsay has already chosen Luck. Like several months ago.

It would be stunning if he went against his original plan.

Believe me, this RG3 noise is just to create topics leading to the draft.

I agree. That first interview where he was talking about having the 1st pick he pretty much said we were going to draft Luck. At least that is how I took it.

  7. Caldwell is nowhere near a solid receiver. He hasn't even gotten past 475 yards and he's been healthy. He was only brought in for depth. All they need is one starting WR on that team and then they'll have a good receiving core. If they can get Wallace (for that 1st round pick) or Jerome Simpson, then they'll be good.

i live in Bengals country, Jerome Simpson can make big plays and is very athletic. He also has many cases of butter fingers and just had a drug charge not long ago. Not saying people don't make mistakes but not one I would want on my team.

  8. Griffin is the better QB, I'll say what ppl don't wanna say... ppl feel safe with Luck because of his size, and that he moves like and even runs like Peyton a bit... AND he's white..... and i get that.

Regardless, Griffin is better not because of his pro day or his hype but he is one heck of a play maker, and makes plays when it counts.

i do not really watch a lot of college ball. I will tell you that. I pay attention when it comes time to draft. i have watched video upon video of both Luck and G. My conclusions were that Luck is obviously more the traditional qb. G is different and really exciting to watch on tape. I feel like Luck with his knowledge and system he has already played, he also has attended Peyton's football camp. They are just more comfortable with him and it is the most rational option. I do not think it has anything at all to do with him being white.

  9. I think expectations will be VERY high for Griffy as well. The Skins gave up A LOT of picks.

I don't know what people expect either since most are calling this team to suck the next few seasons. I hope the Colts can build a balanced team and compete hard win or lose. Luck will be a part of this and hopefully rise to the occasion when called needed.

I think we may win more games then expected if this thing gels sooner then later.

That does make sense. I just think people expect more out of Luck this G, I think people will be people. If Luck does good they will all be like, OH I knew it, i knew he would be good. If he does bad they will say the opposite. People are just like that. They always want to appear to know everything.

  10. Once you've tasted the kool-ade, there's no turning back. lol

I like kool-aide. Cherry is the best:)

On topic, I agree with it seems like Luck will have to do more to prove himself then RG3, just because the expectations seem to be so high for him.

  11. I agree the smart decision is to take Luck. He has the skills that say he would be good in the NFL. When it comes to RG3 he is just a more exciting guy to watch. I'm not so sure he would think run first or not, he does have a very good are, Its a good thing Luck can move with our O line. Even with work or new players it will be different and need time to get it together, I would hate for our #1 pick to get injured. Which brings me to question who is going to be the backup?

  12. I said "You stink" I said nothing of profanities. Or don't you read though my posts

I was not speaking in reference to anything you said. I did not quote you did I? I was just speaking to what I quoted, and stating that I curse but not if I am out at a game. How am I directing that at you? Please let me know.

  13. Expressing displeasure with a team's lackluster performance on the field through booing, displaying the bird, or swearing is certainly your right as a Colts fan & ticket holder. Do you really think Grigson, Pagano, & Irsay can't ascertain for themselves a poor game performance & a lack of execution on the field?

Anyone can curse & express anger when their team is not firing on all cylinders. How exactly does that motivate a team? Having high fan expectations is admirable, but given the dropoff from Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck significant growing pains should be expected. This is the NFL not college anymore. Be a fan not a profane fanatic okay.

Just because a person can swear like a drunken sailor at their under performing team doesn't mean Irsay will put your cell phone number on speed dial & call you up routinely for roster, draft, & front office feedback & advice okay. Booing, swearing, & acting like a lunatic in public is not the best public relations strategy in my opinion, but hey this is the United States of America & you are certainly free to vocalize your anger & resentment about a poor Colts performance as you see fit I guess.

Yes, I agree. May I add that in the heat of the moment when Im watching a game I may curse. I do not go out to games and scream foul language though.

  14. I want a '69 Chevelle and when I have the proper cash to purchase and ressurect i will :)

Yes that would be nice! I love old cars. I however do not know a thing about mechanics, fixing cars, etc. Lol. Guess I'm still a woman ha ha! If I ever find my mustang I will need to pay someone to fix it up for me:) One day.....sigh

  15. The funny thing is no matter how much you want a Mercedes Benz ya aint getting it if you don't have the cash! Geez, some people need a clue!

Ha ha! Love this, and tell me about it! I would love to go get me an old 67 mustang but it aint happenin! lol.

  16. We see it completely different. You can scroll up a few posts to see my take on the moves Grigson made. It's interesting that you classify creating cap space as an edict from Irsay, when in reality it was just the common sense thing to do at this point. Grigson has been on the job two months, and right now, our team is in a position to improve rapidly -- if we make the right decisions in the draft.

I guess common sense really isn't very common. lol. I don't see anything Grigson has done to have all these people doubting him. Give him a chance before you say things people. We have not even been to the draft yet.

  17. And besides, what gives you the right to yell (and at the top of your lungs) explicits while watching the game on Tv, while condemning those who have paid $90.00 a seat to boo, just because multimillion dollar players might hear them? They're big boys (Rich Big Boys) They can take it. ;)

I am in my own home and I can do whatever I want. Ha ha! And I really never said others could not boo them. I don't care how much the seats cost or how much the players make. I just like to watch football. I have never booed my own team is all I was saying. I do not agree with booing your own team. If others want to that is there choice it does not mean I have to like it. I know they can handle it, they are grown men. I just prefer to boo the other team not mine. If Luck comes out and as you said is really terrible at the end of the season and people boo I understand. Will I boo? no, but yes I may curse ha ha! I never said what I do is ok either, it's just what I do. Everyone has there own way of handling things, we are all different.

  18. OK, I see the problem! I used the word "booing" as a verbal reaction. My bad! What I meant was rumblings. Would it be better if Luck, in week 14, and for the 5th time in the game, created a broken play by handing off to an RB that wasn't there resulting in a 3rd turnover, there are RUMBLINGS of displeasure in the crowd and someone screams (20 decibels above the rumblings) "you stink".... Is that better than boos? Because I agree. Boos can be so neanderthal....

Well in my opinion it is expected that after a bad play fans may curse or something to that affect. There is a difference in actually booing,...to me it is more of a conscious effort to boo someone. If my team had a bad play and my reaction is oh ****, well that just kind of comes out. If I boo at anyone it is the opposing team not my team or anyone on it. I have never booed my own team or the players on it and never will. That is just how I am and I don't see anything wrong with it. If you want to boo your own team or its players go ahead,...I do not agree with it is all I was saying.
