I'm think having coach Steichen and his complete staff settled in this year, as opposed to last, helped things out greatly for Ballard too.

Should be Mitchell(4.34), Pierce(4.41) and Gould(4.39), if you want the (3) fastest.
Downs(4.48)
We have some explosive WRs.
Works for me! Either way, broken ankles all over the field.
EDIT: Hell, let's go with 4 receiver sets

Well Downs replaced McKenzie so Gould likely will be Downs backup and also the designated returner.
Yes. McKenzie was Downs backup. Gould is now Downs backup - hence, good replacement for McKenzie.
They mentioned that Gould also played outside and not just the slot. How awesome would it be to see some plays where the WR set was McKenzie, Downs and Gould. Speed all over the damn place!

Watch Ballard trade up one spot in the 7th by trading next year's 7th so we can get a steal of the draft with the best 'flanker' available...
Sorry. Ignore me. I blame draft exhaustion...

Rattler to Saints. I would've guessed the Raiders

Yeah, that one sucks. Would've been a great change up with Taylor...

Got to be about time to address our DBs and even LBs
I think we need some more depth behind Taylor also

That’s what you get these kinds of QBs, it’s what those who weren’t all in on Richardson on draft day were worried about. Still he’s who the Colts took so you have to use the player you took and not try to make him into something he’s not. If they wanted the QB who wasn’t going to use his legs they might as well have drafted Levis.
I'm fine with using the athleticism to extend plays that break down, but just dial back the designed runs a bit. I know they have their use - especially in the redzone and short yardage situations.
I'll stop now. Wrong thread for this

Would anybody be surprised if we grabbed a running back with the next pick?
No. We need one

They aren’t going too, that’s what makes Richardson special.
If missing playing time is special, then I can do without it.

Ballard wasnt kidding when he said that protecting AR is of utmost importance.
That and stop calling designed run plays for him. That should help too

I'd be cool with Wright. Need another depth piece at RB

Cedric to Titans. I was hoping we'd take a shot at him

Guys he’s being compared too include Chalk and Paris Campbell in terms of the type of player he will be in the NFL. Should push Pierce for sure.
I watched a video breakdown on him (before we picked him) where the analyst comps him to Lamb. I wish I could remember the analyst's name

Why? He’s an OT not a dline man.
Probably watched enough of him in practice and from the sideline during games.

Booger seems to think he'd be a pretty good guard.

Maybe Ballard can use one of those extra 5ths (or both) to trade up for someone that he really likes in the 3rd... Should he be so inclined

I kinda liked the job Sermon And Goodson did (sans drop) when called upon.
