  1. Indeed...its in the collective bargaining agreement but not been tested yet. Several GMs were quoted to say that over 60% of their own team would test positive. Not players but HIS OWN TEAM.

If this was a Mr. Universe contest it would matter but as it is neither player is anything more than mediocre...so I fail to see how any of this matters. Perhaps spend more time in the offseason working on tackling technique or coverage skills instead of curling some barbells.

IMO Landry is nothing more than one of those guys you let get off the bus first for looks....sadly his skills on the field are much less impressive.

I think Landry could be back at pro-bowl level if he quit lifting to much and got a little lighter. He is carrying too much weight for his frame... it makes him slower (effects his coverage skills) and puts more strain on his body (makes him less durable) but some guys needs to be the biggest guys in the gym no matter the cost.

  2. Here's a different take on free agency. How is the draft in regards to centers? Are there any decent ones that are going to be available in the draft?

The reason I ask is, what are the chances that a team drafts a center and lets their existing center go? Do you think anyone would do that and we would be able to pick up the guy they let go?

Probably highly unlikely, but, hey, it's the offseason, I may as well throw it out there now.

No team with a center we would want starting for us, would do that.

  3. Honestly I don't know anything about hgh. I do know about test boosters, which most is garbage. And the real deal juice. The only difference about steroids and doing it naturally is it takes way more work, time and dedication without it. And have to eat like a straight up boss!

I agree most testo boosters are a waste of money. i wouldn't say the only difference is between steroids is hard work and dedication. I think roids will take you to a level humans (in general terms) aren't able to go naturally.  there is a guy i work with who is a "natural" bodybuilder and spends hours and hours in the gym, and eats ultra clean. compared to a regular off the street guy there is a world of difference, then he gets on stage with the guys who are using HGH and Roids and he isn't close. The sad part is if you go to one of these types of shows you can easily spot the few guys that are clean.

I don't know of Landry is currently on anything but I am willing to bet at some point he had taken a few cycles of something. I have a feeling that is why he lifts and trains during the off season away from the team. Just a feeling tho.

  4. Yeah, cause everyone who's stacked is on roids...smh

Not saying that, but having spent a good amount of time around people who were on HGH you can see certain differences in their proportions that are just not god given.

  5. "Goodell was asked if NFL owners accused of crimes would be disciplined similarly to players accused of crimes.

“We actually hold ownership to a higher standard and management,” Goodell said. “And I think we’ve proven that in what we’ve done. It’s not just accused. As you know, in our policy, oftentimes we let the criminal process unfold because you need to do that to find out the real facts. Sometimes we don’t have all the facts, and we need to do that. What we look at is multiple offenders. As you know, that’s a real focus for us.”

Haslam is under FBI and IRS investigation for fraud.  Felonies.  Irsay hurt himself.  Nobody else, luckily.  My guess is if found guilty, there will be some penalty coming from the NFL too.

I would somewhat disagree Irsay did hurt the team and the NFL image not just his own. From having family in law enforcement DUI cases are pretty open and shut, unless evidence goes missing or something like that. If he has a good lawyer and i would assume he does they will make a plea deal, lesser charge with community service and a fine. The NFL can pretty much do what they want after that point. Irsay does have a history, so it could really be any ones guess.

  6. Maybe, but all the sports radio people that I listen to in NY preferred Luck. They not only said he was the best player coming out that year, but that he was the best since Manning.

I remember that also, i think it was pretty much a coin flip at the time. Heck I remember people on this forum wanting RGIII

  7. No one said RG3 was better than Luck coming out of college. Many said his rookie year was better than Luck's. I think RG3 will recover and have a good career, but he will not be more successful than Luck.

Actually i remember a good amount of people saying RGIII had a higher ceiling than Luck but Luck was the most polished NFL ready QB.
