Rather spend picks and fa going after oline/dline and LBs.
-
Luck would have still played with the same OC and oline.

Peyton and Brady also hit the deck most of the time when they see a pass rusher within arm's reach. Protect yourself to live another down. There's some technique still to be learned for Brissett and Luck.
Very true, neither of those guys minded folding up like lawn chairs, it enabled long careers.

While this article isnt wrong. I do believe there are things within the play calling that can be done to protect QBs. Such as a quick passing attack. Guys like Brady, Brees, and Peyton Manning excelled at this. You always heard of elite pass rushers get frustrated with how fast the ball was out of their hands. Why cant we implement this type of attack. Quick mesh/crossing routes and screen plays would keep the defensive front 7 from pinning their ears and killing our qbs.

I am definitely warming up to this idea
Who would McDaniels want as his coordinators?

O-line sucked and so did the WRs. Would have been fine if he called out both groups cause that is the full truth. Not this half truth stuff about oline was terrible but the WRs won their match ups.

josh mcdaniels please
Ballard has been talking to JB about McDaniels.
"According to the Boston Globe's Ben Volin, Ballard has been picking Jacoby Brissett's brain about his offensive coordinator in New England, Josh McDaniels."

you better not have jinxed our special teams guys.
-
they should have flexed out that tenn jax thursday night game a couple weeks ago for something better.
-
i think people are complaining because it was really the only aggressive play calling of that qtr or half really. 3 run plays that went no where, more run plays and bubble screens to nicks just wasnt getting it done and they kept on doing it until it was too late.
-
Agreed
the complete opposite happened. yikes

I want that defense that played Cincy to show up again. Lets prove a point or two going into the playoffs.
-
now i just want to play basketball with him.
-
doesn't every team try to slow him down?
-
just would mean more TD rec for Watt

I laughed outloud when Adam Shefter says that Blount can be a kick off specialist for the Patriots. Are you kidding me? You want speed on special teams as in like Darren Sproles you know lightning quickness & agility.
I can't picture Bill using Blount in that capacity myself. Personally, I think his gift is his thick frame, durability, & battering ram quality myself.
Edelman is the guy I'd always put on special teams...That guy has great hands, tremendous vision, & darn that boy is fast.
I don't why NE puts Amendola there unless he's in Brady's WR doghouse or something like that.
I thought Blount was returning kicks for the Pats last year?
-
wouldn't mind a pass rusher but those are hard to come by... maybe we kick the tires on M. Sam?
-
even our blitzes today were terrible.. sad performance
-
going from one of the best defensive performances in colts history (against a top 5 offense) to getting blown out be an average team all in a weeks time span.
-
The cowboys are scary right now... can we put up points on their defense? Yes, but their offense can keep the ball away from us for a long time.
-
might be a game to determine home field adv, although i think Denver will have homefield throughout playoffs.
denver has to play SD twice who looks pretty good and KC could steal one.
-
who would trade us for landry is my real question
-
if this defense shows up in the playoffs you might as well start taking down some ring sizes.
-
not just the stat line but our defense brought the wood today... huge hits all over the place. Cincy Offense looked scared and didn't want to take the field with our defense.

Not sure if y'all have seen this gem, but it had me rolling. Just thought it was a good change of pace for the board. If this has already made the rounds, sorry.
