  1. It won't be Ballard. Ballard got a "get out jail free card" when AR hurt himself last season. This will essentially be viewed as AR's rookie season by Irsay. Ballard must be the luckiest man alive. In fact Ballard should play the 800M powerball. As far as scapegoats it will either be Gus or Jim Bob Cooter
  2. I can understand the pain. I had a chihuahua that I loved with all my heart who passed away last summer at the age of 11. Me and the family were completely devastated. Someone once told me that "When a pet you love passes away you will have a hole in your heart forever" I completely believe it as I'm still not over her passing
  3. I'm a huge UGA fan. Cine was a hechava player at his time in UGA and was instrumental in the Bulldogs winning their national championship. It's a shame he tore his ACL. But if he's healthy he's as good as any FS coming out in the draft this year. I'd love for the Colts to invite him to camp and let him compete
  4. Our WR corps at this point is very mundane and far from explosive And why would you draft a CB at 15 to play in Gus's deep soft cover 2 zone where CB play 15 yards off the receiver? A 3rd or 4th round rookie will do fine there. That's why Ballard dropped the Sneed pursuit
  5. I really hope that Ballard goes best available WR at 15 to give AR all the help he needs. Dallas Turner won't make it past the Falcons since they signed Cousins one of my favorite QBs. @NFLfan Ballard says we need to be more explosive and I can't see how signing a cb at 15 makes us more explosive . Ballard will sign a cb in the 3rd or 4th round
  6. I realize your trying to defend Ballard with a "sour grapes" approach but the contract given to Sneed is not bad at all especially since the salary cap has gone up. I mentioned before that fans think teams will be able to sign more players with the salary cap going up. In fact all that really happens is FA salaries go up to fit the higher cap again. Its a natural "inflation" of salaries. I realize some fans are getting "sticker shock" but keep in mind soon premier WR's will be getting 32-33M a season. Also I'm not sure how many chiefs games you watched in their playoff run, but Sneed was a dominant corner in that run. He was critical in defeating the Bills and the 49ers in the superbowl and clearly the best player in the secondary. During the Bills game he shutdown an entire side of the field forcing Josh Allen to look at his 3rd or 4th option. By that time, Chris Jones was closing in greatly limiting Allen's effectiveness in that game, forcing him out of the pocket. The contract is well deserved.
  7. I would love to have Mitchell or bowers at 8. But we have to stop with the fantasy. Ballard will never trade up
  8. The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result...
  9. I remember that game. What a great team the Vikings had. Randall Cunningham was an awesome QB. Somehow the Falcons stayed close with Chris Chandler and Mort Anderson made a great kick Was it Gary Anderson of the Vikes that missed his kick and that was the difference in the game. A great game no doubt
  10. Ballard chasing a high impact high priced FA ?
  11. Isn't it liars month anyways ? Are Colts fans believing every lie they hear ?
  12. I wasn't. Its just not Ballard's style to sign big money FA's. I think if there were any conversations it probably went like this. Ballard: "So Sneed what kind of money are we talking ?" Sneed: "Mr Ballard, I'm looking for a 3 year 75 Million dollar deal". Ballard: "Ok thanks for letting me know" Ballard hangs up. "CLICK"
  13. With all this fuss about Sneed maybe we should have just kept Gilmore and re-signed one of our own...
  14. I looked it up and Mike Tomzack was the Steelers qb ? He was never really that good but Steelers had a HOF coach in Bill Cowher
  15. Whats interesting is that Milton is from Tennessee where Peyton is from. Perhaps it is destiny ?
  16. I agree and said this as well. Lets go with a rookie sort of like finding our Brock Purdy. Lets take a look at Joe Milton (from Tennessee) in the 5th to play the 3rd string. If AR misses a few games, put Milton in and see what he looks like. In fact move Flacco to 3rd string so he can "mentor" AR. The advantage of minshew is that he knew Shane's offense. Flacco doesn't have that advantage.
  17. Could be good insurance incase AR gets hurt again
  18. Mr. NCF. With all due respect sir I never heard Frank was ordered to to start Sam. How do you know this ? Can you provide a link?
