I hope the NFL Network plays this as this out of network, cheap sob, wants to watch.

Glad to see it! He has been too great to go out like the first couple of weeks.

The Titans have a very good run D, I thought Mack did pretty well all things considering. He pulled yards out of negative plays more than once
Thank you, I appreciate your take as I did not see the game. Have a nice evening!

I liked what I saw last week, sans the run defense missing Sheard and Vin's misses plus the crap call on Denico, but didn't get to watch this. Hopefully the NFL Network will show it so I can actually see it. One thing that concerns me, Mack didn't have a good game. Can anyone tell me why?

Three missed PATs, in two games, doesn't look good. Tennessee could have won with a FG. The loss to LAC was avoidable as well, but not all on Vin's misses. He missed the preseason and that may have something to do with it?

Not bad! Thanks for posting this @Chloe6124, we may not always agree but I appreciate all you do on here! Happy Friday and bottoms up for those who indulge!

Honestly, I think that’s about where he’ll be come end of season. It’s not the end of the world. He doesn’t have to be Luck or put up Luck like numbers. If, he performs like last week throughout the year, it would be hard to complain about JB’s performance. The Colts aren’t there yet. Patience!
After watching the game, taped it off NFL Network, I agree. They could have won that game. If Sheard returns soon and helps tighten up that run defense, plus Mack stay healthy and someone can help out in the run game, Indy may not be in as much trouble as some thought. Still not a Super bowl contender, but may squeak in to the playoffs?

Sheard is so important in run defense. I hope he gets back for week 3! They could have used him last week in that very winnable game.

I feel the Colts usually get an “I’m sooooooooooo sorry,” letter from the NFL a couple times a year.
Not good to get one this early.....
I couldn't watch the game, but I am taping it on the NFL Network tonight, and have to agree with you. It seems to have been an issue over the years and not in Indy's favor.

I wish I could have watched the game so I could weigh in. I was surprised that they took them to OT, despite Vin's missed FG's.
-
He missed the kicks, simple as that. Indy gave the Chargers a game a couple weeks after Luck "surprisingly" retiring, they did much better than I thought they would.

Train wreck? As others have said, watch him fall in line and be a model citizen.
This is likely where he wanted to be all along.
This dude and his agents and those Pats just worked the heck out of the system. The Raiders, once again, on the receiving end of a major *.
He acted the same in Pittsburgh.

Lol, have fun with that train wreck!

I would hope Indy would want no part of that crazy train....

Pretty sure he was given a injury settlement which means if he plays it won’t be here.
Winner, winner chicken dinner!

Thank you Howard, I am sure you were brought in for your infinite wisdom. At 77, you deserve to relax, enjoy it!

That is why I said he has to show it this year to even be considered for a early extension.
You clearly have more time than I do. I hope he balls out though!

Did you read what I said. I said only if he shows he is a top back this year I know he is in the 3 year. What I said was if he has a career year giving him a few extra years with how little he is making would be the right thing to do.
I did, and he hasn't shown that he is a top back to this point. his numbers show that.

I think he has to ball out and show how good he can be this year. I don’t think he gets it early with a bad or average year. With as little as he is making and the short shelf life of RB I think the right thing to do is give him one after the season if he has a big year.

These are rather pedestrian numbers, plus he is in year 3 of a 4 year contract.

Right there as well. 0-8-1 strike season.

What has Mack done to deserve an extension? I am saying this as he really hasn't done enough, at this point, to justify the money he could reap?
-
Well, there you have it, moving on and going forward.

A Transition Tag for a QB cost $22.8M this year. I can't imagine it will be much more than that next year...maybe $1M more. If some team wants to give Brissett more than that...so be it.
I gave the quote for this year as a Franchise tag, which you spoke about.
EDIT: You said "Tag"...very vague indeed, though I assumed and shouldn't have.
