Eberflus is going to have to empty out the blitz calls and call them on 1st down.
I will be very surprised if GB does anything but come out attacking downfield especially on 1st down

1. That was a PI on Rock. Maybe he turns good in the future but with the sheer number of big plays, penalty yardage he has given up this year, its hard to call him anything but a below average corner in this league. Dont know why he is continually being left on isolation coverage: it is a big play waiting to hapoem
2. 28 points to the Packers offense, which has to be close to a season high for points in a half this season for them. Even if D plays better in the 2nd half, damage has been done by inept play so far.
3. The real problem here becomes continually asking Rivers to put up TDs just to stay in the game. That would be tough task even for Peyton Manning in his prime.
4. Isnt the whole point of our D scheme to force FGs instead of TDs especially when field shortens in the ted zone? Didnt see much of that in the 1st half as pretty much all of Packer TDs were walkins.

Rivers has gotten some criticism both locally and nationally but he has done a good job of getting juice in the passing game without any solid ground game to pull us out of holes, keep us in games multiple times so far this year

Honestly, IMO, the only chance we have to win is when our defense plays well. This team is not going to win shootouts. It places way too much on Rivers arm.

1. Colts D is not the dominant unit they are hyped as..good offenses can get things going against them. To allow 21 pts already is not good and it has happened before
2. Offense is not explosive consistent enough to win in today’s NFL

Rivers gets a lot of balls batted.
Had a couple last game against Tenn but got lucky

Last play on offense illustrates a major limitation of our offense: if Rivers gets pressured off his launch point and play turns into a scramble, we are in a bad spot whereas for a lot of teams there still that potential for a big play especially if the Qb can escape into the flat

Green Bay is not going spend much time trying to establish the run.
Looks like they are going to be aggressive on 1st down and put the ball in Rodgers hands.
May need to call more blitzes on 1st down in anticipation if this

Make them drive the field and eat clock. No need to rush more than 4 on a given play
