  1. Stroud doesn’t have trouble getting the ball out. If we are going to win the division we are going to need to score. No it doesn’t.
  2. We also need to stop talking about a DE or DT at 15. We don’t have the weapons to compete with Texans. Only way to get that is at 15.
  3. This is how you run a team when you have a guy on a rookie deal. Not the way Ballard is. It’s embarrassing how passive he is. This colts team is not winning the division as long as Ballard is here. Colds are going to finish 4th in the division st this rate.
  4. There is usually no reason to trade for a WR With these drafts always loaded. Unless your a team just loading up for a SB and everything else is in place.
  5. Who knows if the other team was colts. Seems like maybe it was.
  6. I wasn’t that excited for the draft. But going to have a little more patience to see what Ballard does before the draft.
  7. I agree with you. Get the safety room fixed and there really isn’t any huge holes. What they can use is more high end talent. My guess is Ballard has bowers up there at 15 if he is there. But they don’t need to take a TE anywhere in the draft unless he is still there at 15.
  8. Won’t do crap if we have a bad secondary. That secondary needs fixed. Then fix the secondary.
  9. He just signed Lewis. Signed Grover to a big contract. Then paid Davis good money. I feel 100% he isn’t taking a DT. Now if for some reason Turner falls an edge maybe. But I doubt that is happening. There will be elite offensive weapons and probably some highly rated CB there. The moves Ballard made in the FA period don’t scream DT pick.
  10. We are talking about this year. You can’t keep that many without cutting someone or another position is going to have no depth. Wasting a puck at 15 on a DT does not improve thr team this year.
  11. Who you cutting. We just signed Grover and David to not so cheap co tracts. Ballard is paying that dline a ton of money. That isn’t a need right now.
  12. We don’t need a DT right now and that is a waste of a pick.
  13. It’s going to be Bowers, CB, or WR. If it is WR I imagine they could trade down a few spots.
  14. Rick Venturi today on the radio said he is more of a fan of speed with corners then what Ballard has done. He said young corners have to be able to recover from mistakes. I would almost like rodgers instead of Brent’s.
  15. This is one very big reason we have to hit on the draft. Because guys we draft do want to stay. So growing our own is very important.
  16. I was never against corner at 15. What I was displeased about is some kind of vet as insurance because none of of corners are proven. Now I would rather have a offensive weapon but always been ok with a CB.
  17. If we get Blackmon back and sign a vet FS I think I am ok with that. Then we can get a stud at CB maybe at 15 or even 46. Those first two picks will be very important.
  18. Ballard also told press they have started talks with Blackmon. Holder just said on radio he thinks they will also sign a FS.
  19. Ballard said today they have started talking to Blackmon again. It’s moving in a positive direction. Holder thinks they will sign a FS too. He said he doesn’t think colts liked the FA market at CB.
  20. Glad to see Ballard acknowledge the secondary still needs work. I think this might of come from a sit down with colts podcast and not his presser but not sure. In the defensive backfield, though, Ballard said there could be opportunities to do more through free agency in the coming weeks. "We know we need to add and there's still some vets out there that we will definitely pay attention to," Ballard said. "But there's still work to be done." The Colts like some of their young cornerbacks and safeties, and believe JuJu Brents, Jaylon Jones, Dallis Flowers, Nick Cross and Daniel Scott all have upside as they enter Year 2 or Year 3 in the NFL. Ballard specifically discussed those cornerbacks on Tuesday. "No question we got work to do in the secondary still," Ballard said. "But I like our three young corners. JuJu's gotta be healthy, we gotta get Dallis back healthy, we think we will. We think JuJu will be back healthy. We think both of them are very good. I think we underestimate what Jones did. I thought Jones played really good football last year and did it against some very talented wideouts and never once backed down. He's going to continue to get better. We think these guys are going to continue to get better."
  21. Hopefully Ballards presser is up later because media isn’t giving us anything.
  22. Ballard goes dline and then at end of season wonders why they could g get pressure. Well you didn’t fix the secondary.
