First of all every team wants an elite edge rusher. My point is we have very good. Unless you’re drafting super high we probably aren’t getting elite. Sure he saw hunter as an upgrade. He is proven. To me that does not mean he would use a first round pick on a unproven guy if that makes sense/

For the people that keep saying edge is a hole. What team has won SB with an elite edge last few years. Today panthers signed their DT to a huge contract but yet Burns go. Seems to me an elite DT is more important than an elite edge. I can’t name one edge on chiefs. They have some good ones but not an elite win I don’t believe. I think fans see the old days with freeny and Mathis and get to hung up on. Just get yourself an elite DT with good edge guys and you are fine.

If you had actually read what I said I also the secondary is so bad it might not matter how good the offense is.

Listening to a podcast and a great point was made. When is the process more important then results. The process is. Not working. You can’t trust the process when there have been zero results. It’s time to stop with the patience excuse. Wins and losses are the only thing that matters.

They knew what I meant. They just never miss the opportunity to take a jab.

Or how about asking what changed my mind. Sometimes things change or maybe a point isn’t made clear enough. There is a lot of bullying that goes on here.

What so hard to understand. The team isn’t bad but the secondary is trash and could totally cause this team to lose games. There is nothing hard to understand. Wanting to keep the young QB healthy and not asking him to be Superman is not asking to much.

He has one more excuse and that is Bradley.

They haven’t which makes Ballards record even worse knowing how bad the division was.

What have the last 8 years got him. Don’t you think when your approach isn’t working you should at least tweet your approach. Ballard has not and he has a losing record. He would of been fired 2 or 3 years ago if he was a GM on any other team.

To be fair I was trying to say that this entire thing and being mad at Ballard had nothing to do with diggs going to Texans. No one was saying why didn’t Ballard do it. It is accumulation of not making one move that might improve their chances while the other teams in the division are at least trying. Ballards approach has failed for 8 years. So there is proof it has not worked.

The offense is going to get better just getting Richardson back and woods back. They need one more play maker. Hopefully that’s at 15 and rest of draft is defense.

I am not worried about offense. They will add to the WR group whether that’s at 15 or 46. Taylor and AR will be explosive allowing WR to be a lot more open. The secondary needed retooled and that should of been his main job.

Fans spend their hard earned money on tickets and merchandise. Not to mention their time watching this team play. They deserve better. If your waiting on every player to develop your never going to get better.

Ballard has spent so much money on DT that would show how clueless he is and has no intention of immediately helping this team win.

The sad thing this team is a solid team. Ballard had one job and so far has failed. I don’t care about Rollie’s on defense we draft because it won’t help this year.

It’s always a crap shoot hiring a new GM with their philosophy ect. Colds need Ballard to succeed so we don’t have to worry about the consequences of a new GM.

We would not have Steichen or maybe even AR had that happened. So giving him a reset I was very much ok with. But he clearly has not learned a lesson.

This. I don’t want Ballard fired. We need him to succeed to keep building with Richardson. A new GM creates all kinds of other issues I would rather not think about.

No you just seem to think mocking them is ok.

We allowed one yard more with grove out. What does it matter if you can’t stop the pass in a passing league. Grover is durable and we won games without him.

They haven’t even reaped the awards of those extra picks yet either. That will happen next couple of years as those players develop.

I was all for letting Ballard have a reset finally getting a QB and a new coach. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. So in no way are we saying he is the worst. But he clearly isn’t helping a young team strive to be better.

Every team finds a way to find money if there is a player they want or need. Ballard does not have a winning attitude. This is his worse offseason in his entire tenure. Then add every team in the division made moves they hope will improve their team. But go ahead and say I like our guys. Colts played ten backup QB last year. Being one game from the playoffs should not mean sitting on your butt. That isn’t going to happen this year with the quarterbacks. They also played ten backup quarterbacks.
