    When you run the ball you wear teams down physically. The colts do not have a QB you can have come out and sling it all over the field.

    Colts number one priority should be coming out to establish the run. He did not do that today and it got us behind the sticks early then bengals took the lead and it was over with running. You can’t come out and just throw the ball like that to start.

    This entire season colts have played complimentary football. When one phase was struggling the other picked them up. Today was was a breakdown in all 3 stages of the game. Actually 4 when you include coaching on both sides.

    Richardson would have had defenses confused and he would stretch the field. Of course he is a rookie so you never know if he would make rookie mistakes.

    Colts haven’t stretched a defense for years. Hopefully next year with Richardson we are able too.

    From what i gather it was worse when they got in there to fix it. Rap said 3 to 5 weeks.

    Number one priority this offseason has to be fixing the secondary. Someone laughed at my post this morning about needing to draft a CB high. These backups we have are just that. Backups who should not be starters. Brent’s has not been able to stay healthy so you need to make sure you have insurance there.

    Yep. I just don’t trust this colts team. When you have a backup QB and don’t have many playmakers i am not sure they can win enough. Do or die next week. Usually teams that overachieve it eventually comes back down to water finding its level. Just disappointing we could be tied had we not laid a egg.

    Looks like Herbert might be done for the day. Broncos will probably win.

    I thought after we tied it going into half we really had a chance to start the game over but we did not make adjustments and players and coaches were not prepared. Hopefully smith, speed, and Brent’s are back next week. I doubt Taylor will be back. Dteichen has to get more creative with running the ball. Not just run it up the gut.
