Holder had a good point on JMV. If they had kept Taylor in and used play action you have the defense running towards the line of scrimmage and probably could of done anything they wanted.

Kevin Bowen has a good point. if you look at the list of top 15 WR they are either on teams that drafted them or were traded for. You have to get wlll the way down to Hopkins before you see a FA signing. Just something to think about for any WR that decided they want to go elsewhere. Or people who think they can just replace him with a FA. Burrow said today he structured his contract so they can keep Higgins and was promised that by the team. Doesn’t look like he will be available.

The Collin’s thing was not a coverage though. It was a busted coverage and both safeties went to the middle of the field. Same with their other TD. Both plays were because of the young safeties. He has had how many QB? Just curious if people thought this way about Michael Thomas? They are basically the same player. Catch everything too. Market value is market value. No. He said this morning he told colts he wouldn’t negotiate until after the season. He has had to deal with a lot of quarterbacks so I don’t blame him wanting to see what Richardson and Steichen were all about.

He is too inconsistent. He looks like a 7th rounder. You can rely on them for short periods but not a season. He is a great leader but I think we can do better.

Saw an all 22 today and Gardner throws it deep down middle of field to him instead of throwing it and leading him more to the sideline. Had he thrown it towards the sideline more and let Pierce go get it it’s a walk in TD.

Posturing

Yep. I hate to say this but franklins tackling was so bad. When you have late round picks in starting positions they are usually inconsistent. One week they are great. The next week they are bad. They can fill in short term but if you ask them to be a starter they show why they are a backup. I do like speed though. You can do a lot with him and he has actually won some games in the end for the team.

I think we have a downfield threat with as much as I have seen pierce open.

I heard this but that doesn’t seem accurate. Harrison had more so not sure where they got that. Maybe downs has some rushing stats from jet sweeps or something.

I don’t know if anyone noticed but Downs quietly set the colts rookie receiving record. There has been some great WR in this organization too.
