you know it. Well put.
Hilton runs about 65% of his plays from the slot.
And has 5 big yardage games a season and largely disappears the rest of the season. And it doesn't help when he's the only threat so defenses key in on him. Who was the other wr that demanded a double team ?

Bizarro world.
i would hurl at 5yrs at $12M per for a 5th round pic
Landry is not what we are looking for this off season. JMONope. Not at all. Why would we be looking for a elite wr that can actually catch the ball besides Hilton.. Nope don't need him at all.

He's the Lebron James of football.

One of those small receivers led the lead in yards and unstoppable one on one. Landry I believe holds a nfl record. Hilton is moved to the slot at times because he's elite. But he was drafted to play the outside which he currently has on lock.

Hes an elite slot receiver. But as NCF stated above, we would have two small starting receivers. I’m only paying the kind of money that Landry wants to a dominate outside receiver that we currently don’t have.
Size doesn't matter when your better than the man defending you.

I think the Saints will re-sign him like I initially Posted but you never know.
They will do what's best for the future of the team. Rather that is longer-term or short-term you never know.

He also needs depth on the team around him. Paying a slot receiver elite money isn’t worth it
What's your standards for elite ?

What if the Vikes go all in and offer Brees a huge contract for just 2 years? How cool would that be?

I don’t want to even pay his new contract let alone trade away picks. If Luck is healthy the Colts will score points. Need to focus on ol and upgrading the defense.
He needs Weapons to score points

what do y’all think?
maybe swap our number 3 pick for him, their 11 pick and maybe their 2nd round pick.

Trade down with Jets #6. Get their rd 2 # 50 pick + 4th rd #102 pick+ 2nd rd 2019 pick.

I dont have a source just seen it while watching NFL Live.
I always respect the opinion of former general managers like Casserly and Polian. Just seen on NFL live Polian say'd that Barkley is game changer, he could make any offense in the league better. He say's as a GM you can't pass on players like him, he doesn't think he gets past the Giants but if he does the Colts absolutely should be drafting him because the whole league knows that TY is our only playmaker!
He was having a senior citizen moment. He meant Quenton Nelson
