Benjamin Albright said both they could be trying to trade him but he is going to cost a very high draft pick and needs paid soon.
Draft is full of slot guys so Ballard can’t ignore WR.
Agreed, we need to address it through a trade or draft for sure. Pittman is coming up for a payday as well, and think Alec can fill his role just fine. Two big outside WR's is a bit unnecessary, so maybe a swap for Jeudy would be good for all parties

Wouldn't mind going after Jeudy for our slot role

Parris is signing with giants. Ballard strikes again hurting this offense.
I'm more frustrated with Campbell on this one. How many chances did we give him after being hurt so many times? You would think we'd get the benefit of that from him. Guess he's thinking about taking care of his family

What're you trying to get at Ballard?

Okereke will be missed... worrisome to think we are at the bottom for available cap with this team to show for it. Still hoping for a mini rebuild without going into a full out one

The thing is that all those 3 QB’s have is potential. Are all three going to be franchise quarterbacks? History says no. It’s not considered a great quarterback class. Do you sit at 4 and hope you get lucky with whoever falls to you? That costs you nothing. Otherwise do you pay something maybe a lot to move all the way to 1 and hope the quarterback you pick is the guy. That comes with risks too. No guarantee he works out either. If the Bears decide to draft a quarterback you are now left with the remaining two. For me Fields for the 4th pick and the remainder of his contract with a 5th year option looks very attractive. Fields play in his first two years on a last place team with no OL or decent receivers would not stop me from being interested in making a trade for him. I think he would improve even more playing for the Colts. JMO though. It’s a risk either way.
If we can keep both of our 1st rd picks, I would entertain it. There isn’t a scenario that I would give 1st rd value to the Bears if they choose to give up on Fields. At that point I would think there’d be locker room issues amongst the players and front office about that decision. Also usually a QB asks for a new contract before their rookie contracts are up, so that is what I have to take into account when it comes to Fields as well…At this point, something just tells me that we sit on 4 with the idea of Levi’s being our QB. In no way am I a Levis Advocate, but it just feels like that’s the decision

sucks because it feels like the past 3 years of rebuilding/progress has been just going down the drain. Feels like wasted time and energy

The announcers saying that our oline is struggling with NE front, but no it’s ONLY ONE person at the moment. We need to take Pryor out if he’s going to continue to miss open assignments

Yea, this season is a collective effort. This goes beyond field play. Change is most likely coming soon to Indy

Just a thought, anyone think we should trade Buckner and Kelly while the value is high and put ourselves in a better position to move up for a QB? Would also free space Incase Ravens move on from Lamar Jackson (highly doubtful though)

Can't make it up...

Think we ran on every single first down so far. Liking what I'm seeing from ehlinger though

The worse part of it all is that I think we may just be on a thin line to another complete rebuild. Im just now realizing really how weakwe are in so many positions. Last two years has just been masking the absolute truth

We hate blitzing. It's absolutely foolish, but it's what we do
Honestly it's not even as simple as not blitzing. It's the cushion we continue to give their receivers. I don't understand this being in cover 1 and giving them 5-10 yards of cushion

When did our online take such a turn?
When we let not one but two of our veteran guards walk to depend on players that had less then 2 years of experience in the league

He has to put on weight.
That and muscle will only help him. Definitely getting pushed around a lot. Wish I could say that he’s still young, but I think he’s 24 currently as a rookie. Going to have to fast track his progress some way

Seems like Rainnman needs a full season to even be serviceable at the moment
