  1. If Luck is back 100%.... And imo that's a big if..... Then I see us with a winning record. This team isn't as bad as everyone on the outside thinks. I think a lot of our problems last year was coaching. Heck even with Brisket and a better Oline I can see us competing...... Remember Brisket didn't have ota or training camps with us last year..... He was just thrown into the fire.

I think Robert Mathis said Bjorn Werner was going to dominate the NFL too.

Robert Mathis was a great player. . . I havn't seen any evidence that he's a great scout.

I hope the guy does well but I'm not going to suddenly love this pick cause Robert Mathis said it was good.  This pick of all is the one I'm most skeptical about.

I don't recall Mathis ever saying that about Werner. If Mathis says Turay is going to be a star I bet there's a good chance he will...... He probably see a lot of himself in that kid.

This is exactly how I feel.  Third grade of a C or lower I have seen.

    From MSN.

    INDIANAPOLIS COLTS | C

This might be the strangest class of them all. Quenton Nelson may be the best player in the whole draft, which made him a steal at No. 6 overall. After that, things got weird in a hurry. A small-school linebacker and another guard at the top of the second round, then a pair of trade-ups for edge defenders that went much earlier than expected. The highlights of Day 3 were explosive offensive weapons in Nyheim Hines and Deon Cain (what a steal in the sixth), but other than those two, it was projects galore. Daurice Fountain is intriguing, though. Overall, considering how many premium picks they had to work with, the Colts could have done so much more for a roster than needs so many impact players on both sides of the ball.

Ballard keeps going for depth.  Hello?  You just had how many top picks?  Why are you going for depth?  We need STARTERS.  With that many picks, to get a grade of anything but a B or higher is terrible.  He talks a big game, but in reality he is very VERY conservative.  Same goes with the FA signings.

You put too much stock in these draft grades man. These scouts get paid to find talent. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

  4. " He isn't going to skip a step"....." We feel good about where he (Luck) is in the  process"...... It's been a ridiculous amount of time since Luck has thrown a football. I think the Colts are just crossing their fingers hoping Luck can throw. I think we are going to find out that he can't. We are going to end up rolling with Brisket again and drafting a qb next year.
