I think it will depend on who we roll with at QB. If we go with Brissett or another backup level QB then there's prob a good chance he hangs it up.

That's not a solution. That's like putting a band-aid on a leak
Exactly. I'd rather roll with a rookie.

I do think it's not over - if for no other reason than who are we going to replace him with? I don't think Ballard and Reich would take any QB we would be in a position to draft over Jacoby, and the same is likely true of any free agents.
I will be shocked if Jacoby isn't the starter week 1 of the 2020 season.
I'd be p!ssed.

I bet Ebron didn't even have surgery.
-
This was probably the only way to get Rogers off the field. Colts like him for some reason. Hope he isn't back next season.

Any chance the ankle surgery is baloney?
-
I wonder if the whole ankle surgery is a farce?

Might as well sit Hilton
At this point.... Yeah.

I fully expect us to lose against the Titans this Sunday. Sorry just no faith in this offense.

He's having surgery man. It's not like he's going to Tahiti or something.
Brissett's less than mediocrity at QB is going to have a ripple effect. People will not want to sign here and the org will have to overpay to get people to resign with JB at QB. Even though he's a good, popular guy apparantly, nice guys finish last and money talks and bovine fecal matter walks.
It's an issue. It's time to move on IMO, no later than game 13 or so if we fall out of contention. I have no opinion on Chad Kelly, but if we are out of it, they should see what he has, and then look elsewhere.
Is he though? Having surgery I mean. What exactly is wrong with his ankles?

You can't make no money playing with Jacoby Brissett. Don't blame the dude at all for this.
Well... he's kinda leaving the rest of the team to hang. Not cool.

I don't think we are that far off. If Luck were playing this year, team would be at least 9-2 IMHO and none of this talk would be going on. The offense not being able to move the ball also affects the defense and special teams. Sure, we need another #2 receiver and more pass rush. But remember that every team has holes. Look at what the Patriots are doing using Lawrence Guy and John Simon, two ex-Colts. Look at KCs defense. I think the bottom line is our QB is backup material who is a conservative game manager. Until we change that, it will be hard to compete for titles. I am still hoping Luck comes back. Or that we can draft someone with a bigger upside.
I don't know if I even want Luck back after he left us high and dry...... Maybe to trade.

Until they get maimed....and sooner or later they all do.
Yeah I think I'd rather have a cerebral pocket passer.

Imo we aren't that far off. We have a stellar oline and we do have playmakers on both sides of the ball. We just need an upgrade at QB, WR, CB and DT. Luck really took a dump on this team when he left last minute. Honestly I think Ebron bailed because he came to the Colts to play with Luck...not Brissett. A cruddy attitude I know but you can tell Reich and company were taken by surprise with him choosing to go on IR. Honestly I only see the Colts winning maybe 2 of the next 5 games so maybe we can snag one of the top QBs coming out of the draft. I know Ballard has been keeping an eye on Jordan Love.....

Lengel, 6-7, 266 pounds, has competed in 18 career games (two starts) with the New England Patriots (2016), Cleveland Browns (2017), and Cincinnati Bengals (2018). He has totaled five receptions for 39 yards and two touchdowns. Lengel was originally signed by Cincinnati as an undrafted free agent in 2015. Collegiately, he competed in 30 games at Eastern Kentucky and tallied 34 receptions for 367 yards and two touchdowns.

our qb had no one who could catch the ball, cant beat a team who has pro bowl receivers, superior talent usually wins, use our cap to get some talent ballard, please no more low round project receivers
Hilton, Ebron, Pascal, Doyle..... We have players that can catch. The problem is our Qb.

It’s going to be a interesting game. They should get Fuller and Roby back. Hopefully Desir can go so we don’t have to see Wilson.
I don't think Wilson is a bad player. I guess the Colts do though.

Maybe that will change if we start winning more. Become dominant instead of squeaking by.

Keeping Vinny makes me wonder if the Colts even think we have a serious shot at making a run this year.
-
Total nonsense. How many more games is he going to cost us? No accountability.
-
This current Colts team stinks. I'm not sure how we are favored.
-
Colts play to the level of their competition. colts win 13-10
-
I guess they couldn't find a trade partner for Wilson? Why don't they just cut him? They must not think too much of him considering Rocks performance against the broncos.
