"@Dr. T can the contestant, if they guess the round right, even with a trade down, still get the full points for the A, B, and C? If Ballard trades out of a round, the different round criteria will obviously apply."
I think your suggestion is an improvement over the exalted Dr. T's rules. However, I think we should do away with the prediction of draft position and rounds altogether, and only predict the player in the Colts draft order. For instance, if you predict the Colts third selection is Goncalves and he is our third selection, you should get full points regardless of the round and his position in the entire draft.
Also, do not close the contest on Thursday at 11:00 AM CST in regard for us late-sleepers on the West Coast.
I pity the fool who has to follow in Dr. T's footsteps. -

You are correct jvan1973, and I missed it because you spelled Tanor's name wrong, but you still get 4 points. Unfortunately, your total was 4.5 so Archer still wins!
Wow, that was closer than I thought and getting three picks right was amazing!
I would hate to see someone lose because of a spelling error--especially since I had Orhorhoro.

If Colts add an offensive weapon in the second it will probably just be a complimentary piece.
Flattery will get us nowhere.

I think we trade back unless a specific player or two are there for us to take at 15.
LOL. I don't think a second player at 15 will be of any help !

The other scenario that may benefit the Colts at #15 is if a team wants to take a shot at drafting the 5th QB inside the top 15 such as Bo Nix or Penix Jr.
That's the "X-factor".

It’s kinda like saying bro we have all these TE already why would you want Travis kelce on our team… like what you mean? You don’t want kelce just cuz we have players that do the same thing but are not even remotely close to as good as kelce?
Not to mention we would get Taylor Swift too!

Our last chance to win was to call for a fair catch on the punt after safety with 1 second left, then bring in Ehlinger for a rollout Hail Mary to Pierce and MAC. The multi-lateral return only works in college--not the NFL.

We go 4-2 in our division [next season with late division games].
3-3 will be very hard to do, no matter when the games are played.

If the '95 fail mary were successful and Harper cuts it to the outside and scores in '05, those two plays would have gone down as the two greatest plays in NFL history, above the Immaculate Reception or whatever. That’s how small the difference is between being legendary and not.
All Harper has to do in juke Roethlisburger (it's easy to juke a QB). Or Vanderjagt makes the subsequent field goal. (2005 season--2006 game)

Not a "what if" play, but a what-if game: Colts go undefeated into the last game of the 1967 regular season, and are knocked out of the playoffs by LA Rams.

its a harder catch then it looks like . he had to run then completely turn around mid run and fall back towards the ball while worrying about making the first down after the catch . i dont know how minshew with zero pass rush cant throw a yard pass accurate and lead goodson .
With as many 4th-an-1 plays the Colts have, you would think we would have an easy 2-yd curl in our playbook.

Colts = 1 TD (and lucky to get that)
Texans = 3 TDs

And the winner of the 25th annual Colts draft contest is ...

I applaud you for taking input from the forum for the updated contest rules. I am preparing myself for them.
I guess I didn't get any points for my first round Mitchell prediction, because I said his first name was Quinyon. LOL.
BTW
"Dr. T Posted March 28
the contest is closed on Thursday at 11:00 AM CST April 25, 2024, on the first day of the draft."
