  1. "Frank Gore can still produce. He’s coming off back-to-back rushing games of 98 and 78 yards. But the Colts panicked and abandoned the running game after they fell behind by 13 points to the Patriots. Indianapolis dropped back to pass on its final 27 offensive snaps. That won’t get it done because it makes the Colts easy to defend.

“I probably was a bit overzealous towards the end,” offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton said. “I should have done a better job of mixing in maybe a screen or a draw, something to help our offensive linemen and not put the pressure on those guys to have to pass protect against a good rushing front for 26 or however many consecutive plays. We were down at that point in the game. We all felt like we needed to do something to score fast. It would help if I mix in something to offset that pass rush.”

I'm tired of hearing him talk.... Can chud just take over already?

  2. The media doesn't determine reality. I understand about all the noise and media bias and all that, which just is what it is. But just because ESPN says there's a big issue doesn't mean there is. A year ago, Jason Garrett was 'on the hot seat' and Jerry Jones was being pestered about hiring an actual GM.

May not determine it, but it alters people's perspective. Especially when it's the #1 and largest source for sports news. Is ESPN says it, people who don't really know much bout a team will buy in.

  3. Add 8 weeks to the date he was placed on IR and that's when he's eligible to play again. Appears to me that would make it week 11 , game 10 vs Atlanta.

O your right! I thought we put him on IR before the season, but read that he should be back for the Atlanta game

  4. Honestly, it's tough to explain. Call it a gut feeling/choice. But then again, weve seen what has happened to the 4 9ers after his departure.....so maybe you're right, I'm must not sold on it

Living in the Bay Area for last 5 years, after 3 games with harbaugh as coach you could most definitely tell a changed team. I even told my long time 49ers fan cousin that the niners are headed places and he didn't believe me.

  5. I'm assuming the OP was talking about the relationship between the front office and the head coach. And in that respect, no, I don't think they're dysfunctional.

And even with the issues the team has had so far, I wouldn't use the word dysfunctional to describe them.

But the fact that the media (ESPN) is in love with the patriots and not only that but half there cast played for the patriots. I can see where he's coming from; I've felt this way before.

  6. I don't expect this team to have that motivation. The team that got blown out in 2011 is a completely different team, with different players, coaches, and management. The current players and staff don't have much of a connection to that year, with the exception of a few guys. I don't think our guys will come out angry for what happened in our last meeting with them.

Bad wording, what I meant was that they'd come out with extra motivation due to this patriots game. And as a fan it'd be nice to see a little payback for a weaker saints team

  7. Ya we completely butchered that fake punt play but time to move on considering theres still 10 games left to play.

Does anyone else remember the beating the saints gave us last time we played them in 2011? On national tv!

Well I hope we come out angry and just flat out destroy them the way they did to us at our weakest. Take all of our anger out and get the momentum back on our side.

  8. I understand why the Niners would always put Hyde in the Red Zone area. They NEED to sign Donald Brown as 2nd string and move Robinson to 3rd. I do not trust Robinson enough either to carry balls in the red zone...

Would always? Hyde played only 1 year with gore. And gore would still get majority of the redzone carries

  9. I've been a fan of his. Last year I thought he showed us he was serviceable #2 but, man, he's killing me the last couple games. I mean his injury was a neck injury right? Can it really affect him that much?

Can d'joun maybe come back (any news on him?) and maybe take over?

    Rant off lol

  10. This. Only fickle fans will get really excited about this win. It's nice to not be 0-3, but this team is not ready for the more elite teams we will face.

Lol @ "fickle" I guess being a fan of the colts for the last 15 years is "fickle"

We won man, enjoy it and let's hope this team can get things rolling again. This is the same staff and same team that went to the afc championship last year.
