Tim Williams would be a great pick for the Colts. All I read is we need a pass rush, we need to get QB pressures, more speed on the edges, etc. etc.
Heres a chance to get arguably the best pure pass rusher in the draft.

I would still hope we would. A top 10 defensive talent falling to us because of a minor argument would be a god send. It's not like he assaulted the guy.
We don't know if he put his hands on the medical staff employee. Hopefully he's not that dumb, but I can't see him being sent home for just and oral argument. With the shoulder Issue, size, interviews, and now this, I would be very Leary.

Injuries could be bothersome considering it was at hospital. Maybe it was a doctor saying his shoulder is worse than expected.

I like the 2-3 top O-line prospects; however, it's a horrible O-line draft class. In a normal draft these guys would be 2nd rounders at best.
I'd pass,

Thank you Superman for your breakdown of Joe Mixon. I am aware of the time it takes to do this and wanted to let you know there alway great reads. Look forward to your next one!
Hint: Jamal Williams....

We could possibly get both Perry and an under the radar guy like John Simon for as much as it would have cost cor Ingram. Perry is more of a SAM but he's a very vry good SAM. Graded out excellent against the run and still had 11 sacks with a broken hand. Have to bring in a NT now too with David Parry's recent arrest.
Wow, posted at same time...lol

I'd look at John Simmon (Texans) for about 5m yrly and Nick Perry should be about 8.5m yrly.
Thats 2 quality OLB's who also play the run well.
=13.5m compared to Ingram would have been 17-18m

His issues are largely not physical or technical. Not many dispute that.
The widely rumoured drug issues, that firearm arrest and his issues with picking up schemes are his issues and will be his reasons for slipping.
So far it's all a rumor as you stated. He was not arrested or charged with firearm because he had a permit just not on him.
4 hours ago, UKColt13 said:The fact that he played MUCH fewer snaps than a lot of guys concerns me as well. Bama used him basically as a rush only player.
He's talented but with those issues he's a stupendously risky pick.
At Bama he was not needed for run plays when his back up was the #1 recruit (Hand) who excels against the run. Williams run D stats are very good just limited.
I feel he's the best pass rushing edge in the draft and a day one starter. Exactly what the Colts are missing.

Training camp is in July-Aug. so he'd be behind and more than likely not a contributor in early season. That's tough to swallow for a 14/15 pick if all heals well.
Worse case would be lost for season like Shaq Lawson last year for Bills.
-
Wow, could start on pup. I feel he should of had surgery and be ready for camp but chose to do surgery after combine. Might drop in draft.

Nah I'd have to disagree. Mostly of everyone here knew Werner wasn't a fit for our team. Taco is by far more talented.
Taco couldn't crack the starting lineup until he was a 4th yr Senior.
It would be nice to have a Taco on the team but not until Rd 2-3

I research extensively. I made an innocent mistake that I acknowledged fully in a follow up.
For Mixon, when it comes down to it, I don't care whether the girl was his girlfriend or not. He got pushed by a 110lb girl and responded by throwing a feint, throwing a right hook, knocking her out cold, and just walked away. That is not someone I want on my team. Some may differ.
I also acknowledged to you yesterday in another topic that whilst I compared Tim to Randy I did say that he hadn't gone 'full-Gregory'. But that comparison will happen. Because they are comparable. Comparable is not the same as the same. I compared them sure but I stated that he wasn't as bad yet. I said my peace on the rumour mill surrounding him.
In the end, I don't see Williams as a first round pick, drug problem rumours or no drug problem rumours. He is one dimensional in his play. Struggles to pick up schemes. Played limited snaps due to Bama not having confidence in his ability to do anything but rush the passer. He's a very talented pass rusher but rumours or no rumours. has character red flags that need to be assessed. His ceiling early on is Elvis Dumervil IMO, but I can't 100% count on him to be a quality starter for the years to come.
Interestingly, The Colts need just that. "A pass rusher"

Nice draft..... hope it happens

Davis would be a steal in the 2nd. He might be the best ILB of the draft and would have been a first rounder last year but stayed in school.

-
That's a great draft

Seems like slot of teams are acting fast to look at front runners to be their HC.
NE D.C. & OC have been requested and Kyle Shanahan.

I fell the emotion shown by Luck after the winning TD pass was Awesome.... He needed that to set up his MVP season next year.

Love the kid, but the Colts do not need to draft another WR (I see Mac as a slot WR) in the first 6 rounds. Imho
