So you are going to be upset if we draft any player/position that is not a NT in the 1st? That is kind of painting ourselves into a corner.

1) I respect your opinion; however I feel we have painted this corner for a decade now and it's time to stop the run before it starts instead of chasing 8 yds downfield with db's and lb's.

If Kendricks and Anthony are gone is there really an ILB that you really like that much above players that might be available at other positions, I want an ILB that is good in coverage I don't see one of those sitting there as best player in round 2?

2) Again thank you for your response; I think Kendricks will be gone way earlier and that there will be a day one impact starter still available for us such as. Perryman - dominate thumper and can handle TE's and zone which is what most ILB can cover. Anthony should be available as well and he would be day 1 starter. Shaq Thompson is there but I think he'll be long gone or strong OLB such as Markus Golden.

If I were dead set at getting those 2 positions in the 1st 2 rounds (which I think is bad strategy btw) I might be tempted to swap LB to 1, and DT to 2.

3) feel we should stop run before its 5 yds past line and have some rush so our CB's & Safties don't get killed.

1stRd - do not want anyone except a big nasty NT

2ndRd - do not want anyone except a smash mouth LB

Safeties are way overrated this year and the draft is deep with OL
