Clearly TE Tip Reiman and OL Mason McCormick stood out to a lot of people.
Unfortunately, I was busy Sunday (day of rest) and didn't see any of the OL performances. Does look like I called it about McCormick. Now need to see where he gets drafted.
Post-Combine Draft looking like this right now:
1) OC Jackson Powers-Johnson (Oregon) - Kelly on final year of his contract and proven experience at RG
2) MLB Payton Wilson (UNC) - Franklin is a FA next season and Colts need an upgrade
3) NCB Kirs Abrams-Draine (Missouri) - Kenny's replacement 1-2 years
4) RB Dylan Laube (New Hampshire) - ST returner
5) WR-X Ryan Flournoy (SE Missouri St) - Impressed me at the Combine reminds me of Dontayvion Wicks (Packers)
6) DT-3T Fabian Lovett (Florida St) - reminds me of Karl Brooks that was drafted in Round 6 (Packers)
7) TE Tip Reiman (Illinois) - kids could move a sled

Fiske is intriguing, but when I look at him, why does Bjoern Warner pop into my head???Honestly am not sold on the hype either. And Bjoern comp might be closer to the truth. Kind of has a tweener feel where don’t fit Stewart’s role and not sure capable of Buckner’s backup. Buckner kind of want to lock down long-term like a Calias Campbell.
-
Marcellas Dial looks like a future nickel cornberback.
Running backs give me either Indiana’s own Isaac Guerendo or Laube. Both have great hands for returning kicks.
Offensively got to like JPJ. Kiran Amegadjie and Mason McCormick like to see how they test.
Free Agency hopefully we can address our FS. Are some decent linebackers do like but too many players not enough draft capital.
-
Ricky Pearsall might be what we want on Day 2 and focus on other positions of need on Day 1. Day 2-3 got to like Malik Washington as a backup in the slot. Both Flournoy and Means look like solid backups and was impressed by their combine performances.

Great Simulcam. Worthy had a better start, but Ross looked like he gained a little on him.
Remind everyone what kind of career Ross had. Curious if Worthy’s speed translates well for the NFL. Hoping to see him compete in the other on field drills see if speed and hands actually work in unison.

Think am more interested in Day 3 receivers. Besides Flourney, WR Bub Means is another player showing late promise. Flourney might get drafted while see Means as an UDFA currently. Want to see how both do in remaining drills.

WR Ryan Flourney looks like an interesting Day 3 prospect

Laube looks like he knows how to ride a horse. Get him drafted to the Colts.

This is who I want at TE, if we dont get Bowers. I think he would round out our TE room well.
See where NFL network compared him to Jimmy Graham. Theo checking a lot of boxes for me as well this weekend.

Looks like Brevyn Spann-Ford could be available late. One scout described him as “a sixth offensive lineman”. Could be worth a 6 or 7 to fill that gap on the roster.
Spann-Ford should have came out last year. Known as a good blocker and seen that when he moved the sled last night. Still a dark horse pick with value late.

Isaac Guerendo 4.33. 😲
Guerendo is another player am interested in. Clearly checking a lot of boxes as a RB1-2. Great hands and now that speed will move him above Laube.

I'll do a personal mock draft on the forum after the combine. I have some guys I'm targeting personally. Probably will do one without trades and one with trades later. Defense is a big target early though.
Round 3 liking edge Kneeland and DT Wingo
Round 4 RB Laube should be a good RB2 but we’ll need a ST returner
After today my list keeps updating and changing.

Hello TE Tip Reiman (Illinois) can block and catch, except around his knee caps, blame that one on the thrower compared to others.

I've been high on Cam Hart for a while now. He has 32 5/8 inch arms and is extremely athletic. I believe Cam can play Zone Coverage as well if I remember right. I had him as a 3rd round pick originally, but he may go in the late 2nd. Might be able to get him in a trade down to acquire more picks like JuJu last year.
Like Cam as well. He would be a solid pick and match our defense.
Have been trading back in Round 1 with the Bills. Assumption gain their Round 2&3 picks. One mock scenario we could draft SS Nubin if Blackmon walks then add our typical corner in Round 2. Also keep gravitating back to the soccer ball MLB with our original Round 2 pick.

You say this is somewhat more realistic and yet you have two trades where Seattle is sending the Colts Tariq Woolen and the 49ers are trading the Colts Fred Warner.
Come on now. This would NEVER happen and you’re calling it realistic? Yeah, no.
Reality had more to do with who we cut, resigned and added in FA to manage cap space. Knowing the future before the past crystal ball scenario. Adding Warner obviously put team in cap space troubles to a point where couldn’t sign draft class. Why had to extend contracts move money this year to make deals happen post-knowledge.

Utah knows how to produce safeties. Touched on this long ago and Cole Bishop standing out again today. Could the Colts double down with dual Utah safety combination of Blackmon and Bishop?
That Sione Vaki not half bad either. -
Liking Marcellas Dial. Can see him moved to NCB and be immediate-future replacement for Kenny Moore. Can’t see Dial going UDFA now and should move up the draft board.

Need to take another look at Jaylx Hunt. Really impressive performances today.

Yeah... I don't know how to evaluate that. It will depend on whether he gets cleared by the doctors I guess... other than that he's done better than I expected today. He's more of a technician than super athlete...
Do noticed Latu had cupping recently done on his neck can see it.

Wanted to see Byrd’s Forty

Dual 4.68 forty not bad can see the Colts look more at him
-
Xavier Thomas another one decent Forty times. See what he injured and how much more he can do today.

Always tinkering with the draft board lol
1) OC Jackson Powers-Johnson (Oregon)
2) WR Ricky Pearsall (Florida) - As much as I like MLB Wilson just has small arms and hands and rather have WLB Edgerrin Cooper (Texas A&M)
3) RB Isaac Guerendo (Louisville) - forgot to add my weekend Combine notes to my work computer. Guerendo moved up my list as the top RB and has excellent hands - ST returner?
4) LG Mason McCormick (S Dakota St) - Lack of quality starter depth behind Nelson has always scared me and McCormick has the tools to be a starter and has the chance to replace Nelson at the end of 2026. Possible RG option in 2025 project Powers-Johnson to move to Center?
5) FS Jaylin Simpson (Auburn) - been on/off with Simpson in my mocks and after the Combine Simpson proved to me once again that he has the measurements and skillset we are looking for.
6) WR-X Ryan Flournoy (SE Missouri St) - very impressed with his combine performance and measurables that matched his college production
7) CB Ryan Watts (Texas) - impressive measurables that the Colts like 34 1/2” arms, 82 1/8” wingspan, 40.5” vertical, broad 125, 3-cone 6.82. Solid tackler needs to improve coverage skills.
