I would resign him for vet min., but would also sign some free agent wr and see what happens in pre season. if he stays healthy fine, otherwise cut him.... I think we will draft one receiver and let wayne go. I love Reggie but, he is getting old and maybe not worth the big contract he is gonna ask for.

I know not very popular to trade Manning away, but hypothetically what would we get for him? Would a team like the Browns give up one of their first round picks and a couple of others?

But that's not based on anything. I could say, "I think he will play out his contract, and then feel so good that he asks for an extension!!!#!$!%!&!&!%!!&111" and it holds no less water based on the facts.

I don't think that Peyton will play 4 more years! I think 3 at best, more likely is that he will retire after 2 more seasons.

Who else thinks that Peyton was a reason why Irsay finally fired the Polians? I think Manning wasn't very happy with Bill Polian and it come to a rupture between them over the last months.

What a surprise! And I don't think this means Peyton is gone either, quite the contrary! I think firing the Polians was a condition of Peyton. I read some rumors he wasn't very happy with Bill the last months. So good news, it's time for a change. Hopefully Caldwell, Christensen and Rychalski are the next.

I hope the Colts loose against the Jaguars. I know that sounds terrible, but ^messing^ up the number one pick in the last game after an awful season would be over the top. Even if we don't draft Luck, we would get a lot of picks!

I don't like the win if it means that Caldwell can keep his job or we are losing the number 1 overall pick (Texans and Jacksonville games are winnable too now).

If Peyton can't play anymore bring him in as a coach! He would be a better OC than Christensen right away...

It all depends on Mannings health!
1. If he is back at 100% health and can play for 3-4 more years we don't need to draft Luck!
2. If Manning has to retire drafting Luck is a no brainer.
3. If Manning is back, but not at 100% and it's uncertain if he will ever be the play at the same level again and he has only 1-2 years left. drafting Luck would be wise even if he sits 1-2 years.

The Colts are sucking right now because of a) bad personell decisions (coaching staff) B) ignoring the backup qb position for years c) some bad draft decisions and responsible for all are Chris and Bill Polian. So off course you have to discuss their positions too. And to be honest I'm so tired of Bill Polian and his lame excuses and his stupid ego!

I like it! We have a lot of options with the 1st pick. What we will do will depend on Peytons health. If he is back at 100% health we can trade it to get some more picks (which this team need). If Peyton has to retire you can get a good replacement for him with Andrea Luck. I still hope we will see Peyton for 2-3 more years, but I'm beginning to doubt that we will see him back.
