Could they bring Clark back? There is probably not a big market for him.
-
Robert Meachem would be a nice option if we can't sign Pierre Garcon. Maybe we can get him for a reasonable price.

Early Doucet would at least add some depth, is still young with 26 and shouldn't cost very much

We still can get our "kings ransom" next year, because I expect that we will end with another number one pick next year. It hurts to see all these players gone but face the truth: Manning is getting old and every hit can now end his career, our other key players either are old or injury prone and don't forget that we spend a lot of our cap on a few players over the last years. We now have the chance to correct this dilemma and spend our cap more wisely.

maybe the pats will give up one of their first rounders?

I like the Kirkpatrick signing. I read a lot of good things about him.
-
I don't see the Defense winning any games for us next season so Luck and Offense have to do that...
-
with Peyton gone I don't see Jeff coming back, he will probably retire.
-
I'm sad that the Manning era in Indy ends but I'm also excited about Andrew Luck
-
What about Nicolas Jean-Baptiste from Baylor?
-
Anthony Collins from the Bengals would be a nice pickup. He is still young with 26, wouldn't cost very much and played well when called upon. And we could use some depth especially on the tackle position. I don't know about Evan Mathis, he is probably looking for a big contract and he is injury prone. Maybe the Colts should take a look a Jeremy Zuttah from the Bucs, who is versatile and can play several positions on the offensive line. He is maybe not starting material but a servicable backup.

Any opinions on Josh Norman and Josh Robinson?
-
Colsten would be a nice pickup, but probably not a realistic one. I think he will sign with someone else if the leaves the Saints. I also like the idea of Robert Meachem, we should get him for a reasonable price.

I think that was a bad decision by Pierre. In my eyes his value is more between 20 and 25 million for a five year contract and I don't think that he will get a better offer than the 35 by the Colts. Maybe he gambled too much ...

If we keep Peyton and draft Luck. Luck can play WR in his first year, he had an impressive vertical jump ;-)

WOW. Stephen Hill had a great Combine Day so far. He ran a 4.30 and a 4.31 and has good size with 6'4. With Garcon gambling and Wayne possible gone, what about him? Can aynone say somethin about his route running or his hands?

With a new defensive philosophy do you think Jerry Hughes can turn his NFL career around? I think he played in a 3-4 Defense at TCU so maybe the philosophy change is good for him...
-
I don't know if the firings were a big shock for Peyton. He seemed more than one time unhappy with some of the coaches decisions.
-
Bob Sanders would be the first coach landing on IR
-
all the best for jim caldwell and his family and good luck for his next job! i'm glad we will get a new head coach. caldwell is a good coach but probably head coach is not the right position for him.
-
caldwell back with the colts? worst decision ever!
-
so we can expect more games were we get outcoached, with no in game adjustments and lousy timeout calls?
-
yeah I also think the patriots could target barron, but they also like to trade picks away. so i just hope they do it again this year. i think we could get a compensatory pick for session, but don't know in which round it would be. if we get a 4th or 5th rounder i would pick up a dt.
Feels Like The Colts Won't Be Indys Team, Indianas Team Ever Again.

It was a tough week and I understand the people who are disappointed. BUT this drastic change was only a question of time! Peyton ist 36 years old, several other key players are getting old too. It is now happending just 2-3 years earlier than expected but it was inevitable.
