Maybe, but they aren't a better team without Green.
Obviously. And the lions aren't a better team without Calvin. But you should get the picture.
-
Dalton is basically Matthew Stafford. Stafford over depends on Calvin and he too throw a lot of picks. He's thrown no picks with Green in as well. You're logic makes no sense.
You also said it would be better. And then said we got off easy because Green wasn't in.
Logical failure.
Dalton does the same. It should be a good thing for dalton to trust his other receivers and help him develop his QB skills without Green.
-
What happened to AJ Green? Is he not playing today?
No, he's thinking about replacing Reggie Wayne in the sidelines.
-
Seriously, c'mon Simms.
The Bengals don't have AJ Green or Gresham, so the only way they can win this game is for Dalton to have a great game. He has failed pretty badly if you ask me.
We saw Luck last year in the playoffs without Wayne or D. Allen and he found a way to win. The gap between Luck and Dalton is huge, IMO.
-
Who wax the guy who said that Luck and Dalton are on the same level?? I hope he sees now the gap between the two.[/quote

Feels like a regular season game

Well Herron needs to fix his fumbling issues so he's in.They have to, don't they?
Richardson should be gone.
Tipton should be in for a roster spot.
Bradshaw is getting older but who cares, he's in. Ballard may never come back healthy. So running back can become a option in the draft only in 4th rounds.

QB + good O-line + running game = super bowl
You're asking Luck to win a Super Bowl in his 3rd year and the colts don't have 2/3 of the above.
2/10

Richardson is slow as molasses. He always gets dragged down from behind. He had some space out in front of him.
Then he needs to be a FB or he's released. He would make a great FB.

Good play

Luck needs to know when to throw the ball away.
Edit: Fumble was almost costly.

I know. But this stuff happens when you have no running game. That's how the whole team is feeling lost.dont feel like looking it up...don't want to depress myself any further but I know they have most likely run for less than 100 yards without Luck. My point is just that the whole team is playing lost and that includes Luck right now. He is also leading the team in turnovers over the past 3-4 months. No one is clean here. They all need to get it together...and must shoulder the blame. Being the best player on the team doesn't exclude you or somehow put you above the rest of your team mates. If you were to ask Andrew himself he would probably admit he has to get better. That's the kind of guy he is. It's only his apologetic fans that don't seem to grasp this.
They can't run. The team usually 3 and out. The defense gets tired easily and allow points. The QB makes more mistakes(fact that luck leads the league in passing attempts).
I'm not exusing Luck at all. Pretty much no one except the special teams lol.
I'm saying is that the colts right now will never make the AFC championship game let alone wining it because they can't run the damn ball. They need to fix this problem. You can fix the defense later but damn fix the running game.
Edit: Rodgers have a running game. Peyton right now have a running game. Brady. Romo. Flacco. Ben.
They all do and most of them went to the Super Bowl and win. The colts need to fix their problem.
-
You mean a coaching offensive line problem? Runningback coach problem?
-
And a running back with vision.
-
Agreed.
The real reason the colts are playing bad the past month is because they have no running backs/game.
-
Since you answered Luck, answer this please.Does it really matter? It's Luck...he is our best player. Duh? He has been sticking lately and the whole team has been as well. Big whoop. He is the best player on a team that has been playing some really lousy football for the past month of the season.
How many rushing yards the colts gained the past 3-4 games? Don't add Luck to the equation.
And how many points the defense allowed? The past 3-4 games? Don't add Luck's pick sixes.
Edit: He's not Brady or Rodgers or Manning but you're missing the point.

I don't think we'll get past the first round.
You're facing Cincy(they will lose to Denver and Steelers in week 17 and steelers win division) or SD or Baltimore.
I think they can pull a win off of either teams.
-
I fear one and done. But people said that about the Ravens in 2012 against the AFC's favorites Broncos and Patriots. What happened? Ravens won Super Bowl XLVII.
The ravens that year can run the ball. The colts can't.
-
At best they will lose to the Denver Broncos or the New England Patriots in the divisional round.
They can't run the ball which is very important for you to win and it puts pressure on your passing game which also makes you one dimensional.
-
I'm tired of all these Luck apologists. Who cares...the whole team sucked and that includes Andrew friggin Luck. Get over it. He has been subpar for the past 3-4 games now. He needs to improve his play along with everyone else. He is not above the Colts team. Right now...they all STINK!
Who's the best player on this team for the past 3-4 games?
-
I just can't believe that people actually think that, it's amazing really. The kid has broken a number of records and is one of the leading passers in the league. You are right though, people dwell too much on the last game instead of the entire season.
Only casuals do that.
-
I doubt it, he died 20 years ago. I'll try to get a hold of him on my ouija board and get back to you
Please do. We need him.
-
Can your dad gets our team prepared?Like who?
Edit: if he can, he's hired.
-
Denver must beat Cincy.
I owe someone here an Apology!

Because MJD is basically talking about Andy Dalton's QB skills without Green.
