  1. He had EVERY opportunity to make it here in INDY..       Heck he could not stick to the special teams unit.      He was just bad here.

Buffalo has a lot of studs on that DL.        Darius and Williams are monsters...        Jerry would be a fool to leave that situation.  And get exposed for the average player he is.     Heck the guy we traded for him played well in Buffalo....       not here.

I dunno.. Hughes got double teamed by Freeney and Matthis when he was here.

  2. Keep in mind, media analysts thought we were "expected" to sign Paul Kruger and Cliff Avril. Both didn't happen.

Indy still had Freeney and Mathis on the roster then...     I guarantee if hindsight were ...          Grigs would have ponied up for ate least one of them.

Mcphee can play Defensive End.  He can take over for Redding,  he doesn't have to replace Walden.

They can be on the field at the same time, which is great with his pass rush ability.  The ends that we have now can barely create any pass rush. Plus he can play the run.

Indy's problem is they don't have that ONE guy who demands a lot of attention.     Mathis?   Can't count on him.   I see indy swinging for the fences for a pass rusher and it won't be McPhee...

One constant double team totally changes everything along the DL...     Indy needs a playmaker so badly.

HARDY   and he could come relatively cheap?   Maybe?   Bring in a Hardy type and hope Mathis comes back near his potential...    Indy is in business then.

  3. Jerry Hughes has never seen ONE double team in his career...    he better stay in Buffalo where he will continue NOT seeing any double teams...       That DL is really, REALLY good.   9m per is STUD money...   and I have seen Jerry enough to know he is not a STUD.    At least he finally decided to hit the weight room...

Indy will sign Hardy...           Book it...   I want ballers not choir boys..

Report: Colts Likely to Pursue Pernell McPhee

...According to a report from CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, the Colts "will likely be very involved" in pursuing Ravens defensive lineman Pernell McPhee...

...Ravens defensive lineman Pernell McPhee, a rotational guy in Baltimore who rarely started, is going to hit it big. I expect he can reach $10M a year -- the Colts will likely be very involved -- and will top a class of pass rushers that has some questions. Jerry Hughes might hit $9M a year, with guys like Brandon Graham and Jason Worilds possibly coming in around the $7.5M range. It's certain McPhee is gone -- the Ravens wish him best of luck and are happy for the young man who is about to secure life-changing wealth, and at this point I'd expect everyone on this list to be playing elsewhere next season...

  4. I think Gurley is really GREAT also...  but how can Grigs possibly take a chance on him when he has whiffed on Werner and a few "kinda big FA's" ??     I think Grigs will simply take BPA outside of QB and TE...       He just cannot miss on this first rounder.

And I REALLY agree with what Rick Vinturi says..  "if teams are going to double team TY, Indy HAS GOT TO MAKE THEM PAY"

Is Moncrief that guy?   Carter?        Gordon, Coleman?  I like.....         Gurley?   IF Indy were to do that and TG busts....    or neveer recovers.      It could cost Grigs his job.

This draft is SO HUGE, this team has to get at LEAST 3 contributors right off the bat.

I will be really * if Gurley is available, we let him go and then the Pats pick him up!

  5. I don't know about that...     IMO need positions would be in order of importance...

    S   ...   they just don't have any

    Edge rusher / LB..

    DL         34 Ends

    OL

RB   Indy has played the plug and play game for a couple seasons now...    Worse comes to worse.. they will do it again.

Unless a STUD is available...    PETERSON, Gordon, Coleman...   Then do it.     Frank Gore?  32 years old?

IF a STUD WR, OL, or RB falls to Indy I just don't see how they can pass it up.      Because they are far more "predictable" as far as how they will fair than any OLB or DE picked in the late first round.       The Colts have whiffed on Hughes and Werner...       A really great WR or RB would just make things SO much easier on TY.      And if that could EVER happen, Indy will just outscore the opponent.

This team needs a lot, they just do.....   but I would just about bet my house that IF Mel G is there (or a WR they really like) when Indy picks...    they will take him.         IF said individual is a difference maker.

And Grigs has had a really good eye for WR talent so far.

Or Coleman evan maybe?    Gurley I really like but coming of an ACL I just don't see how Grigs could possibly take that kind of chance.     2nd round...     no question.

Colts will get a "couple" backs via FA and draft...     just a matter of how much, and or WHEN?

I think FA will give all of us a great idea what Indy is thinking come draft time.

There is no hate on him. RB is the least important position on either side of the ball.

  6. Chap was on with DD or maybe Grady and Joe today and he stated Indy had around 40 - 43 million and could even grow if a couplle more players are let go (Thomas and TR grievance ) adding 4-7 m?.       And he is of the opinion that Indy will make a BIG play for a pass rusher...     Yes Please...

This team has plenty of dough...    but Grigs has got to hit this time ..       BIG

       Grady and Big Joe...

  7. I've been singing Tev's song for 3 months...   He is LEGIT.       And people are starting to take notice...

I have a feeling if INDY wants a STUD back they have to burn a 1 on him.    And i just don't know about that.

    AA or Duke...        in second?

But I can tell you I want TEV C bad....        in INDY.

Now here me out, out of the top HB in this draft who had a worse supporting cast in college than Coleman? I just think that if he's there when we pick with the 29th selection we have to take him. He has the running style the colts need with our o-line. He is viscious running between the tackles, accelerates to full speed with the flip of a switch and does not get tackled down by shoe lace tackles!. Some might think the first round is to early for him but I think we can't pass on him. Your thoughts?

  8. Ok...    you are a genius beyond... others.. ?   ;)

LOL...    just google it grasshopper..  K

or maybe look up lake county circa 1991, st rd 31 and maybe you might get some insight into something YOU obviously have NO clue what you are talking about.   And it can be found. without names...      but you already know that don't you?   jeexzzz

It is ok to admit you are not the smartest * on the web every once in a while.    It really is..

See you all draft time kids...  I can't take any more of this apathy.

Yeah, I don't need to ask a state trooper whether s/he can smell marijuana in a moving car on the highway, from another car.

  9. wth, I am a hypocrite...       but I like my bad boys to stay out of trouble..    Thats not too much to ask for is it?

And I said bring Hardy in if the price is right.    incentives>        I mean come on ....   if this team is willing to put up with bench warmers getting clowned on the Police blotter surely Indy could pay a little for a guy that can sack the QB?

    JMO..

I find it amazing how up in arms you are about this with how much you argued in favor of Hardy.

I will say that for a guy that seemed to be on the cusp of being out the door anyhow, this probably sealed the deal.

  10. I get that ...  but are rules not rules?

I mean come on..    EVERYONE knows the routine...    they know when the * tests come  and STILL cannot pass?

I am all for Mary Jane legalization.      Too bad I live in the state that will be the LAST to do it...

that said...     It is written...      obey.

It's not hard.       AN nfl player has ALL OFF season to get high as a kite.          BUT then ,,,         3 scheduled tests a year and all are announced.          How can one possibly # this up?

JMO    oh well...     My cousin lives in Colorado...   heehee   no worries..  hheheee

Anyone remember when your dad came home from work and had a drink either before, with, or after dinner?

My dad had a one beer most nights with his dinner.

For this generation,  a joint is just that,  a nightly drink.    It's just not a big deal for them.

And for athlete's, it IS a big deal because it helps them manage their pain.   Marijuana is very helpful in this area.   Hey,  senior citizens with cancer are taking marijuana to manage their pain.     It's really helpful.

This just doesn't register for me as a big deal.

I think AB is 50/50 at best.   But, if he's healthy, I'd love to have him back.   It is shocking to me just how good he is!

  11. Evidently both were pizzed that Brad was late getting them their stuff....

ughhhh.    what a comedy our team has become.

Every one on this squad needs to tighten it up TODAY.

Not to mention if D'Qwell and mcNary spent more time with Bradshaw they might not be in the situations they are now.

  12. So you hold AB to these slugs standards?

Sigh..      really?    Brad is supposed to be the example... but...   I guess he was he leader of the * march out of town.

Seriously...       This team needs a voice of reason to + slap the locker room.

    Whatever.. .

Sounds like there is accountability, but you can't fix stupid.
