  1. Can yout speak on the shape of her current RB and WR?

I think she has two decent 2nd tier RB's. And a 1st and 2nd tier WR, pending how week johnson does, with Matthews being decent but Agholor is going to steal lots of targets if he continues to stand out.

Absolutely. The RB's I like, even though Stewart I'm always on the fence about. However, with Benjamin out for the year, they may rely on him more. WR's should be consistent as well. I think she is solid there.

  2. My wife got an offer of hilton, romo and kniles davis for her luck and Jordan Mathews. She kinda laughed that off abd I told her to counter, almost jokingly, with AP, Jordy nelson, and romo.

Which this would also get shot down what would be a fair trade for luck and Mathews out of the following.

    AP

    Romo

    Nelson

    Hilton

    Bills D

    T. Kelce

    J. Stewart

    J. Randle.

    My wife's main roster is

    Luck

    M. Ingram, A. Ellington

    E. Sanders, A. Johnson

    Gronkowski

    J. Matthews

    Rams D.

With B. Marshall, Sankey, Fleener, P. Harvin, Brady, and Cruz on her bench.

I would ask for something close to the AP trade you were joking about. You have to include AP for one. I would probably also include nelson and see if he does it. If he rejects, offer Luck and Matthews for AP and Romo. A QB is the easiest position to find production on the waivers, but WR isn't too bad either. It just happens Nelson brings a lot more value than Romo in this situation. I'm assuming this is a flex league, as you separated Matthews from Sanders and Andre with Gronk.

  3. Virgil Green, Broncos' TE, do we expect him to see more downs than Owen Daniels, as the season goes on? If we are in a league with mandatory TEs, is Virgil Green a safer bet than Owen Daniels given Daniels' injury history?

I would have to agree with this. I believe that Daniels and green will get equal playing time when the season starts, but Green will probably get the majority of snaps as the year rolls around. It is possible if Daniels stays healthy and performs that he could gain more snaps though. This isn't a very reliable situation at TE, despite Peyton Manning at QB, and I would honestly avoid it if possible.

  4. dynasty football trade help i have  devante parker  and a 3rd round pick for ryan matthews and 23 round pick

Don't do a lot of dynasty football, but this one is pretty easy. Keep Devante and the 3rd rounder. Matthews isn't much of a starter anymore and you can do a lot with a 3rd rounder, whether it be this year or next year. Devante is hurt right now, but he is a 1st round pick at WR in a dynasty league with a good QB. Keep him and the pick and they'll both benefit you.

  5. I definitely used the heck out of this topic last year and learned a lot at the same time. I ended up helping when I could too, it was pretty fun.

I remember, I fell behind at the end of the season giving advice and you picked up the slack. You'll be my CO-GM lol. Lets do what we can here and learn from each other. I did one money league already a few weeks ago before Foster was injured and took him 1st round with the 7th pick (my luck) and got punished for impatience. Hopefully he does only miss a couple games.

  6. Josh Robinson looked very good out there, ran hard and may of earned a spot on the team after today. Noticed Dorsett was good, though the fumble was a bad oops moment. Herrara had a nice INT off barkley. Good effort overall.

  7. as far as a bust too early to speculate but i would hope nobody would be a bust everyone looks solid including Robinson and Herrara with Smith making some rookie mistakes but i feel he'll be fine haven't heard any negatives about any of the other picks

It is too early to speculate for sure, but this is just for fun as of now. I hope no one busts either and it would be amazing if no one busted, but that would be almost impossible to pull off. Even in my scenario, 5 out of 8 is solid. We're going with limited info for now, and it's anyone's guess.

  8. This is a thread dedicated to the Colts 2015 draft class. I started one a few weeks earlier to see if we could draft better than Grigson. This thread is dedicated to specifically predicting our official draft class. We will either guess hit or bust and it will be based on their draft position and yearly performance through year 1.

The draft class is as follows to predict off of:

    1st round: Phillip Dorsett

    3rd round: D'Joun Smith

    3rd round: Henry Anderson

    4th Round: Clayton Geathers

    5th Round: David Parry

    6th Round: Josh Robinson

    6th Round: Amarlo Herrara

    7th round: Denzelle Good

    Here are my predictions:

Phillip Dorsett: Hit. I have been high on him for months before the draft and his training camp efforts have only solidified my beliefs in him. Everything about him shows he will be a solid player and I believe he will be our no2 WR in his second year.

D'Joun Smith: Bust. He wasn't a guy I saw a lot of tape of, as him getting picked was a surprise to me. Even though his tape was impressive, he was still kinda the odd man out at the beginning if I had to a choose a bust (hard to hit on every pick), and his play has been unimpressive so far. There will probably be a lemon somewhere in our first few picks, and I predict D'Joun will be it.

Henry Anderson: Hit. I was drafting him in every mock possible in the 3rd round on first-pick as a dream pick before the draft, and it came to fruition on day 2 of the draft. His instincts are excellent and he always seems to know what he's doing on the field. Very good pass rusher that fits our scheme and he's a bit older and mature of a player that should make the transition quickly to the NFL. I predict he will be the starter as early as the end of the season for us.

Clayton Geathers: Hit. I thought this was a reach originally, but I'm all aboard the Geathers train. He has shown he can play with the 1st team in training camp, and I believe he will get a lot of starting time this season as a rookie. This was a very good pick, and I think he will pay dividends immediately. Possibly the best Safety fit for us in the entire class and we got him in the 4th.

David Parry: Bust. I said he wouldn't make the 53 originally, and even though that was a bold prediction, he will still have to do something to stand out from the other DT's on the team. There is plenty of time as of now and the preseason will play a big part in determining his future with us. I still think he was picked because of his Stanford connection with Henry Anderson, but hopefully he can develop into a solid player for us.

Josh Robinson: Bust. Most people will disagree with me here, but I don't see anything that makes him stand out from the other RB's we have. Frank Gore is the starter, Herron is probably making the team at worst as the 3. This leaves 1 or maybe 2 spots for robinson to make the team or he will be put on the PS where he will probably be claimed. I'm not sure if he can beat out ballard and tipton and varga at this time. Seems like it's a crapshoot at this point, and Robinson has a lot to prove quickly after being injured.

Amarlo Herrara: Hit. I believe Herrara will be a solid backup player for us year 1. He is on the 2nd string, which is a good thing at this point and is beating out Henoc Muamba. If Nate Irving isn't fully healthy, Herrara could find himself as the primary backup to Jackson and Freeman with some decent starting time throughout the season. There's little info on him so far, but with praise from D'Qwell Jackson and the a lot of possible opportunity, I trust him to have some sort of impact in 2015.

Denzelle Good: Hit. Based on the info I've seen so far, he looks to be the backup to Jack Mewhort at RT. If he can hold that down and somewhat impress in preseason, I think he will outperform his draft stock and at least be a career backup with a bit of playing time. This is completely dependent on his preseason performance and his ability to keep the backup spot at RT, but we may have gotten a backup RT late in the draft that has some use.

These are my predictions and I would love to hear yours! If you can include your reasoning, that's even better! Want to agree or disagree with me, lets talk about it here as well. Lets have a good discussion and see how we did. We are rooting for all of our picks to do well, but these are my predictions as of now.

  9. Man people are way too hyped about Bortles potential. Here's the thing, he has yet to show he does not suck. At least Hoyer can be an average QB. Calling the WRs a wash is hilarious, Nuk is way better than anything the Jags have, Shorts may be too. You're basing you're entire argument off of "maybe these dudes become good"

Average is a Jay Cutler, Andy Dalton type in the middle of the pack QB. Hoyer has never been on that level. Robinson and Hurns had decent rookie years and the Jags also drafted a rookie in Sammie Coates that is looking good. Bortles may be based off potential, but at least it's better than a guaranteed bottom 5 qb in Hoyer. Can't be much worse if he turns out to be bad.

  10. The thing is, I don't think Ray Rice got special treatment.

Greg Hardy? Yeah, being rich and famous allowed him to pay off the woman he reportedly threw around an apartment, whose life he threatened, etc. And here he is, right back on an NFL roster (which is weird enough), and then the NFLPA talks about how unfair it is that he's suspended 10 games, they appeal, and the suspension is knocked down to four games by an arbitrator. That's special treatment.

Probation for a first offense, particularly for someone with a respectable track record, isn't special treatment. And again, Ray Rice is still without a team. Several teams have said that they would NOT sign him, period. He's kind of been ostracized, and as far as we know, it's because he did something really awful and happened to be recorded doing it. I don't feel sorry for him, but I also don't think he should be drawn and quartered.

Last thing, I respect that you have personal feelings about this. I'll just say that those personal feelings aren't exclusive to you, and I don't think they give you the right to look down your nose at people who disagree with you.

Fair enough, I'll end with the fact that if it was someone's family member, they'd think differently. I'm not going on any more about this as I don't want to say something that gets me banned. This is a sensitive subject, and I hope some people think about it a second time that would support Ray rice.
