  1. The Freeman call was the right call, you even saw his fellow teammates pushing him away, so they all knew it was wrong.  My problem is; again; per usual the case with NFL officiating.  That Same series Dez Bryant is lined up at the bottom, talking all kinds of mess to the safety, flapping his arms in the air, but the official right next to him doesn't call any kind of flag.  It wasn't that Dez trying to swat away a fly, he was jawing and pointing at Brown I believe, how was that not taunting, or at least a false start because Dez never got set?

  2. What a pleasant surprise this guy has been!  Apparently he has alot more fuel left in the tank than I thought.  I think this a pretty good signing by Grigs as well (for those who like to question such things) While I thought we would miss Bethea, Adams is having a comparable if not better year than Bethea.  They both ironically enough have the same number of tackles, same numbers of FF while Bethea has 1 sack and 3 int's Adams has 5.

He's played pretty well this season, what do you guys think?  How many years does he have left with this being his 11th season?  1 or 2 more I would suspect?  I believe though, as long as we have Grigson; we will be able to have a very capable backfield.  Again, your thoughts?

  3. Definately the rushing attack, it gases the d which makes it even worse further on towards the end of the game, then its that slow bleed you can't stop like Htown was saying.

When the D is on the field early i'm alot more confident because I know our Secondary (when healthy) can play lights out, Vontae and Adams (Indy's new Ball Hawk) get their hands on the ball alot.  It may not always be interceptions but they are drive killers!

  4. Ahhh... thanks. My bad and shame on Grigson for just not waiving him after he was injured.

Sarcasm. . . the spice of life LOL

No, but for real I heard that too, I'm always interested in prospects, if I remember correctly wasn't he pretty quick for a guy that big?  Heck I remember when people flipped out about Freeman, Adongo, Muamba.  I'm all for it, Grigson digging for talent; you will always have wash outs, but you can also find gems in the rough too

  5. I think Davis has been Grigs biggest homerun yet, even more than TY, Allen, every other pick (besides Luck.)  The guy is completely underrated on a national level but thats what playing in IN does for ya, keeps ya under the radar.  I hope he is ok and can play because I would love to see him shut down Dez.  I would be thrilled if he kept him under 100yds and 0tds.

    Great Article BTW.

Is it me or is the new crop of colts beat writers increasing in talent, compared to the last few seasons this season seems much better?  Maybe its me?

  6. Yeah we should run this team by popular vote amongst the fans! Every decision should be voted upon by the fan base and acted upon accordingly! Here here!!

    Then 2 options happen:

1 everybody would refer to Madden as a cheat sheet.

2 nothing would get done because when half the forum says run more, the other half says run less.

Let's let the pros do what they are paid to do and the fans get overzealous, overanxious and my personal fave; overly obnoxious. They are entitled to make mistakes at their jobs, just like your boss Lets you.

BTW this is directly to you cpthooligan

  7. CBS Sports is calling Pittsburgh Head Coach Mike Tomlin a punk?!?!?     Or is CBS calling Blount a punk?

And if it's Blount, well, doesn't that go to my point....?

Can you please provide a link to that?    That's something I've got to read....

I've got you totally confused!  My fault.  In my quote to you I also quoted CantBeStopped (CBS) sorry for my confusing post!!!!

What I was say is like Cantbestopped my brother think tomlins a punk and I disagree.  I thought Tomlin was a good guy.  What are your thoughts on Tomlin

  8. If he can't play for Mike Tomlin,  I question whether he can play for Chuck Pagano and the Colts.

My brother has issue with Tomlin and like CBS says below (and my brother would agree) he is a punk.  I just don't get it, I always liked the guy, that he was a good guy, tough but good

whys that. Him and tomlin are both punks that doesnt equal out well.i dont remember him having trouble on the pats.

    Why is he a punk?

My brother and I had this discussion and he cites the incident on the sidelines and a couple other things that escape me at the moment but why your disdain?

  9. This is nothing but a complete set of lies.  Gronk did NOT pick Brown up and slam him down.  All Gronk did was shove him while they were tied up.. The replay CLEARLY shows that Brown had ahold of Gronk's jersey prior to the shove.  ..

Only punks like yourself make up lies about things that happened.  I

your not gonna last here.  I hope you enjoy your brief stay

  10. Where to start.

On the play where Ty Hilton "pinballed' you need to go watch the play again.  T.Y. went to change his route and hit the Pats player, lost his balance and then hit Browner causing him to fall down..  That's on T.Y.  Not the Pats players.. And that didn't happen to Wayne on that play..

On the play regarding Gronk and Sergio Brown.  Brown punched Gronk in the face.  Or did you decide to ignore the fact that when they went to a close-up on the sidelines, Gronk's mouth was bloody?  The "I threw him out of the club" comment came during the Post-Game interview, not during the game.  You can't penalize a player during the game for something that happens afterward.

Considering the rule changes that have come because of Irsay and the Colts, Colts fans should be the LAST ones complaining about Kraft and any supposed misconduct.

    Where to start.

I didn't know being shoved from behind while running a route was his fault, and yes Reggie was also being interfered with. All I needed to see was one time.  Regarding Sergio punching your TE.  Please, show me the proof.  Players get bloodied up all the time, its a violent sport.  Heck JJ Watt starts starts bleeding as soon as he puts on a helmet.  I said nothing about his comments.  my only bone of contention is that fact after he punked him across the field. doing it out of bounds was unnecessary and could have seriously hurt someone.

So before you come in here, read my first post and try to spout off your contrarian dribble.  Check out what I'm actually saying before just trying to be a troll with your handful of posts.

BTW if there is video of punching your TE in the mouth.  Suspend him.  I don't want a guy like that on my team.  I said the same thing when Walden headbutted a player last year.

    try again troll!

  11. Landry you left him out.

We are young on the O Line 2 rookies and a 2nd year guy. We had 5 picks in this years draft only 2 in the first 3 rounds. It would look like at least 3 are keepers. Then he hit with UDFA's as well Grigs is doing fine.

This happens after every loss. After every win we have the best team since.... It's a bipolar board

    Bipolar board is soooooo appropriate!

Don't forget the chicken Little's! The sky is falling!

  12. colts have it easy conf. in the afc . automatic 9 to 10 wins a above avg team.

So its the colts fault, they got re-aligned. And jax,Tenn and Houston are all spinning their wheels? Is that Manusky's fault or Special Teams coach.

NFC south, just as bad, if not worse btw

  13. I love how everyone still holds onto Richardson as his bad move, yet everyone forgets we got Davis for a 2nd rd pick, Freeman was plucked out of Canada, got Josh Chapman, Newsome, not to mention Allen, TY.  Yep, Grigs and co should be fired.  Lets have a forum vote and whoever gets the most votes, can un-stick themselves from their couches, beers and keyboards and show these athletes what the coaches apparently can't.

Some people are so ungrateful.  You should count your blessings, with my wifes' side of the family being Raider fans, you truly don't know despair as an NFL fan.  In the post decade we have had 1 losing season.  In that same span, the best the raiders have been. . . . (drumroll please) A .500 club once.  If that doesn't provide you with some context and appreciation, well then, my suggestion would be; please choose a different team to root for.  Oh boo hoo, were 6-4 and just got beat by a good NE team.

SMH its almost better to come to this site during the offseason, more even-keeled people who want to discuss how the team can change and get better vs. Fire! Fire! Fire! Trent's a bust! Fire! Fire! Fire! Pep sucks! Grigs sucks! we run too much! we pass to much!  Pags sucks! Werner Sucks! Irsay sucks! Fire! Fire! Fire

    Did i miss anyone?

  14. thanks man  . . . surely we will differ on things and some of us are on opposites side of the fan fence . . . but there are things common to the game, fanhood and humanity that should have our fanhood get in the way of what is right . . .

Spoken like a fan of the game.
  15. on one level I hear you . . . but on another level those parties are set up in advance as teams hope they win . . . so I guess the team could cancel the party, but the pats did not . . . there were other players there too, one of which was Matt Light hooping it up . . . . on the other end of the spectrum you have people criticism Bill B. for being too down after a game and too "stand" off-ish of the media and such . . . so I am not sure which one is correct . . . kind of damned if you do and damned if you don't . . .

I guess it comes down to personalities . . . Rodney Harrison was upset about it . . but then again there is not much one could do about it the next season does not start for 3-4 months . . . and if the player comes back with all the fire possible in May does it really matter what he did in March or the night of the SB . . .

I am not sure I would go to the party . . . but then again some people have different ways to shake off a tough lost . . . the ultimate key is if they come back the following year with enough fire to play at 100% . . .

Well said. Great points. See people! We can get along
  16. For all the people acting like us Pats fans that are horrible human beings for feeling the way we feel about this and eat babies or something... just read this article and watch the video:

Right at the 1 minute mark, it shows that play of Gronk and you'll hear the commentator talk about the play

Good Lord this is football man, not a Brotha Lynch Rap song :woah: <-- I hope i'm not the only one who gets this reference

  17. Before last night what has Gronk done to make you think he is a punk?

eww eww can I answer.  maybe not punk, but for me,  his actions after the SB loss (cutting a rug)definately put a bad taste in my mouth!  It definately did your boy Rodney Harrison and I believe maybe, if I remember correctly, Bruschi was a lil salty over it too? I woulda been irate if it woulda been a colts player.  I woulda wanted him cut. I don't wanna find out my TE is livin la vida loca at a club, hours after they lost the SB. . .but thats me. . .

  18. Nice point overall.

But as I said earlier, this "rivalry" is relatively one sided. I don't dislike one current Colt. Luck is a good , talented kid. Pagano is a nice guy, too.

Still loathe the Yankees though :). Although not as much since '04.

The rivalry isn't what it used to be with Manning gone but us colts fans HATE, no LOATHE losing to NE more than any other team, sans maybe SD(personally) I respect and loathe your organization at the same time. [emoji2]

On the Yankee tip. They won't be good again until the develop their farm team again. RE2PECT! Sorry had too

  19. And yet you can't cite any prior evidence.

    Yeah, great argument.

Basically, he's a Patriot player who put a Colt player in his place. Therefore, based on your logic, he's "always" been a punk.

Well ya. All patriot players, coaches, fans. Don't feel too bad though cause I feel that way about every other team and their fans, coaches, cities. HECK you'll never catch me in Bawston, between the pats and the Sox, I hate red. Isnt that Fandom? Go Yankees! Kidding.

    Or am I?

  20. Lol.  So tell me.  If Sergio was the one who broke his arm.  And Gronk is constantly giving him hell for it, you'd expect the NFL to take care of it huh?  And when Sergio gets targeted because he doesn't say anything and his arm is broken again or worse, you'd be fine with it because at least the NFL is going to fine Gronk for his dirty play?  Wow, that mentality is why there are killings and whatnot, because a large percentage of young people don't understand there is consequence in this world and run their mouths.  And when people do not put them in their place that young kid whose running his mouth gets a hold of a gun and thinks he is a big boy and gets shot by a guy who doesn't back down or vise versa.

You are literally making a mountain out of a mole hill.  If Gronk was the smaller man and Sergio the taller, everyone would be praising him for standing up for himself instead though it is seen as a exasperating dirty play.  Again get over it...

Say what?  A) your analogy/comparisson is way off base, the ones mouthing off are the ones picking on kids, being bullies, not shooting up the school.  Today's teenager mentality is to ridicule anything different and to be a bully.  B) These are PROFESSIONAL GROWN MEN, not teenagers.

The point isn't that Gronk was standing up for himself, the point that I was originally making is that it was too much.  Again, never once did I justify Sergio's actions, and if you mess with the bull, you may get the horns.  The TE took it too far simple as that.  He had already punked him all the way across the field.  No need to take him 7 yds out of bounds then throw him into a camera truck.

  21. He doesn't bother me. Its one thing for an announcer to favor a team...fine. But what motivates him to ignore the obvious to favor one team?

Is it part of the NFL's corporate objective and he's one of its propaganda machines? Even bad announcers aren't usually that biased towards one team...there has to be something more to it.

Your one of the few. He's not a huge colts fan, never has been. He was better on inside the nfl or whatever he was on. Keep him out the booth
