When's the last time we had a back this big? Bradshaw?
Bradshaw was around 5'-10" 210#....... so not really close.

I read they have until 1pm today to form the PS. I hope we can stash JoJo
He's 5'7" and 150#...... should be easy to hide behind a few other players

I was very confident he'd be kept, but glad they are giving Clark another year at OT nonetheless......

He'll likely go to the Practice Squad in a day or so...
but we were already paper thin at DB..... they must be bringing some DB in, otherwise, that was a spot you probably had to hold a space or 2 for injured guys, so I would expect more, rather than less, thn the normal quota of DB's early on

Natson was waived? WTH?

because he's behind Tom Brady, and a dude who half the teams in the league would give a legit shot at starting, he's worse than Scott Tolzien?

Ballard seems to be storing up a good amount of cap space with his cuts so far...... 2.1 mil for Ayers, Dorsett was making more than Brissett by virtue of draft position...... Spence cut saved a mil as well no? I think he has his eye on bringing a few guys in.....

I wouldn't be too sure about that. They could have picked up any number of warm bodies to be the third string qb. They traded for brissett
Brissett is more physically capable of running the same Offense as Luck than any QB we had, if nothing else, he will minimize the necessary changes to the PB should Luck miss time over the next few y ears....
-
2.1 mil.....there's the reason Ayers was cut, you can get his lvl of production for near league minimum

Very true.
Fans...... and Russell Westbrook, but that's for another forum..... lol

Tolzien is 29, Brissett is 24, Brissett has potential...... Tolzien has a career TD-INT ratio of 1 to 5 and no untapped potential left....... he is what he is, Jim Sorgi basically...... Brissett could be our next Matt Hasselbeck...... and is under contract on the rookie scale for 3 more seasons....
-
Tampa cut RB Jeremy McNichols..... rookie out of Boise St. Kind of surprising..... I thought he'd be a pretty solid NFL RB
-
In former Colts/Grigson picks news..... TENN just cut D'joun Smith.....

I'm not blaming the coaches for Dorsett's failures when JoJo Natson is the smallest WR on the team and is on the verge of making a 53 man roster
smallest Dude in the NFL in 5 years period if he makes the 53 man.....

But how do you know the people saying they don't particularly like the trade are the same ones who said that about Dorsett?that's the mystery of the interwebs...... I'm not going to research post history for every negative trade comment, but I would venture to say that there is some overlap..... it's just the nature of the series of tubes that we exchange information on...... ; )

Yup, here comes people acting like the whole forum hated Dorsett.
Plenty of people had been defending him and saying we shouldn't cut him, saying that he'd been misused.plenty i s subjective..... I liked Phil, and always thought he could be much better utilized..... but it's nowhere near a majority that thought we should keep the guy over say, Rogers even.....
-
It was pretty hard to find posts extolling the virtues of Phillip Dorsett here for the last few years, we had a decent chance of cutting him today, they trade him for what is likely a better backup QB than we currently have on roster, and people are freaking out.... lmao..... proving that fan stands for fanatic. ; )

To troll with the local and national media probably lol. If I was Irsay and Ballard I'd be sitting in a dark office watching it all unfold laughing menacingly as we all freak out on social media and drop the bomb at 3:59 saying he's off PUP.
watch them screw up and pull a Larry Bird and get the paperwork in 1 minute late, and then he's on PUP 6 weeks.... lmao..... oh god if they leave him on this place will be a wreck, pray for the mods if that happens lol

I would pay attention to some of these statements from Holder about Cory White. I think they are going to make room for him. He can play nickel back pretty well from what I've heard from Saints fans. He can also play safety. Ive seen other reporters make comments about us possibly releasing Butler. Its not that outlandish to me because of Hooker and Farley. White has really good size and speed along with a nose for the football. Hes also a willing tackler. I also feel like the coaches are going to make way for Culliver Green and Melvin. If they make a move on Butler then that opens things up to put White and Green as the back up safties while keeping Melvin and Culliver in rotation with Wilson, Davis, and Hairston. I'm not panning for Butler to get cut but I wont say its out of the question due to age and other stuff.
I could definitely see that scenario, and while I like Dbutts...... I could get behind those moves pretty easily
-
yeah, I haven't heard much or watched him lately...... but he must have fallen hard from last season....
-
Any interest now? I'd sign him up..... pro bowler a year ago Baltimore made a trade a minute ago, and released Zuttah..... he should be cheaper now

who is your PR/KR if Natson is on PS OP?
none of the 5 WR can return really, and only 3 RB's...... with only 8 RB/WR, do you really want to risk injury on ST's anyway? . no DB Returners either..... I think Natson or Bray has to make it, likely JoJo
RB Matt Jones
