  1. Dudes gonna be here past 4.  If he's on Pup that will be weird, as that does nothing for anyone, as he can't be traded for four weeks...and can't play, or even practice....  no plus to that for us, and none for him except that he gets his base salary and no fines,?

Where it goes from there ....  who knows, but I think every week that goes by past week four and he's not playing and on the sidelines, his value is at best static....  and likely dropping at least slightly.

I think he is here, and plays here week 5-on if not from week 1.  I think they will actually try and sign him to a 36 up to 45/three years with incentives deal, 24/guaranteed.  If he shows he is healthy and balls out.....

Is Jonathan Taylor Getting Traded to Miami in the Next 24 Hours?

If you don't feel like listening... This guy blames Irsay for the holdup

Was ok, but "information" wise?  He pretty much is a Dolphins fan in his mom's basement.

I don't think it was ever close. And that's on purpose. We don't want to lose him. He's healthy and we want him to play out his contract. Hell we could give him a decent deal mid-season if he plays his cards right.

I've felt this way all along.  I think a big reason Ballard, Irsay, Steichen, haven't said much of anything, is they expect JT to be a part of the team now, this season, and going forward as long as he's healthy and productive.

Precisely. Wentz served the function the Eagles needed him to and when it was time, Howie assessed him correctly and found a willing buyer. The rep he has is one where he fleeces you if you go up against him, in this business that's the ultimate sign of respect.

Roseman sucked for his entire career and was on the verge of being chased out of Philly prior to getting exceedingly lucky developing a QB that MANY were not willing to bet would be a solid starter, let alone an All pro.....

This is interesting. So colts changing their mind about giving Taylor more money or willing to trade him for what ever they get.

No, he's just saying that watching Taylor flip from good guy to the villain has been entertaining for him personally to watch.  It's a wrestling analogy.  I don't see how it has anything to do with any change for either Taylor or the Team.....  the "heel turn" was Taylor going from "I signed a deal and I'm committed" to "I demand a trade". That's been done for a while....

Bremer said he and his agent never asked for much more then that. It was never 16 million.

Why are you putting Bremer reports above everyone else, and stating them, and defending them, as factual...... Mere minutes after you said to take all the "reporters" posts and claims with a "grain of salt"?

There's not a lot of nuance, or shades of gray in your world are there? ; )

Well I think that is in the same ballpark. From the way it sounded by Bremer  colts might "have" actually tried to low ball him. He said if what he heard is true it’s entirely on the colts.

Eh, even if they made an offer (doubtful, as we haven't heard a single peep about it until right before the "deadline") That doesn't make the "lowball" incumbent on Indy....if they offered just less than triple his pay this year as a sweetener, then technically that's interpreted here by Bremer, and in turn you, as alllll Indy's fault for a "lowball" offer less than 12/per..I doubt JT would see a bump from 4.3 to 11.5 as an insult.....now, I dont think hef be pleased enough to take that and that one either.

    Me too dude..... Me too

We are thin as can be on the OL. We are heading into the season with a recently converted OT as our RG

I would take Robert Hunt and a 2nd for JT all day, every day

Be careful, you will get laughed at for holding this position :)

No one is laughing at people who are beating the drum for Robert Hunt and a 2nd for Taylor.  I haven't seen anyone laugh at that and make noise about it being stupid....

I have seen several who regard Hunt as highly as you do, and what they have said, is they think it's ridiculous to assume Miami will trade Hunt.....That's agreeing with you homie, not laughing at you!! Lol

The only person I know among those is Jules.

There are many people I have not seen in a while like Brent, JayKirk, MAC, 21isSuperman, SheColt, Dustin, SouthWest1, Andy (I think that was his name...he was from Canada and was big on draft-related stuff), and so many more. More recently, some of those I have not seen are Valpo, Princeton Tiger, and many of the Patriot fans that used to post here the first 5 years of my membership here. I miss SteelCityColt, who was one of my favorite.

There are some who used to post a lot. They lurk but do not post comments now. I often wonder why they do not post comments anymore.

I've been around since the days of Dano annoying us all over the ratS message boards.... Ugh

If true, JT may finally understand that he's not going to get that big payday.

Now the question becomes; will he take whatever he can get just to get away from Indy or does he come back home to play it out?

I've never understood, nor believed.....the unsubstantiated idea that Taylor "Will not ever return to Indy". Where did that even come from?  Not even MilkDud came out and stated anything like that....

I would be on the lookout for OLinemen, back-up LB's (with ST's value) and RB as areas of improvement thru waivers.

Every other spot they seem to be 'verbally' happy with their depth to include the very young CB room.........

Perhaps we trade from a position of strength to instead of allowing a player they covet to hit the waiver wire? Trade one of our TE's that perhaps the new coach is not fond of? Chicago, Philly or Carolina would be optimum spots since the coached there are aware of what our players bring to the table.

Not happy with the likes of Speed, JoJo, Stuard, Olubi, on ST?

Ballard is due to have a presser this coming week or the following week before the season starts. Going to be interesting where this is by that time.

Taylor will be on the roster, "injured" and CB will say, "we love Jonathan, we think highly of Him and his family, we WANT Jonathan.... No one even came CLOSE to offering us enough for him".....etc. etc.

    Dude?

Wentz was traded by the Commanders, not the Eagles.

You are so busy making arguments you can't even keep your teams straight.

    Dude......

Come on man!! It's Frank's fault and if we end up picking in the top 5 it  is because of our rookie qb. I just thought Ballard amassed such premium talent that even Brock Osweiler could win a superbowl with Indy?

    What's up Dan? Lol
