Good luck Antoine!

So, for example, Houston traded one of the top 4-3 MLB a few years back, a kid from Alabama, a former 2nd round pick to Philly, who was still running a 4-3. (Demarcus Ryien??? I'm sure I've botched that name!)
DeMeco Ryans.
(That's all I have to add to this thread)

I have to agree with dudeski on this one.

I didn't realize we were that far removed from 2-14 that we've forgotten how important a decent backup QB can be.

Seahawks. (That was my favorite overall game of the season too, followed by the 49ers game). Then Broncos. (And the Mathis sack/strip of Peyton is also my favorite Colts play of the year).
Best Comeback: Obviously the Chiefs. Obviously.

This one is funny, but I like the first one better. HAMBONE!

how can a UDFA be a bust?
Bad game by Rogers last night...but onwards and upwards. I am very curious to see if he'll improve with a full off season with the Colts.

I bought one!

Weren't we the first with 3 in 2004? (Can't believe it's already been 10 years since Peyton broke the record the first time)

Cool. Got my drama. Great second half, and congrats to the 'Noles.

Alright Famous Jameis. Your turn.

And if Brady played for the Colts then this forum would be loaded with Colts Brady fans with his photo in their icon/avatar.
Jealousy and envy. I would lay money down that if Brady wasn't as attractive as he is, and was just average looking, but still had all that talent and success, he'd be loved by all. It's a shame, but I find men are way worse than women when it comes to being jealous of men like Brady.
And? I don't get that argument.
I don't like Brady because he plays for the Patriots, who were the bane of the Colts existence there for awhile.

Good lord. That may be the fastest man on the planet,.
Apparently so...already running a 4.37 as a freshman

Here we go!
Edited to add: That was DUMB.

But would there really be an accurate record for concussions? There is a lot more emphasis on diagnosing them this season, probably due to the settlement the NFL recently made for retired players.
No idea, I'm just repeating information that I found. I'm going to guess no, there aren't accurate accounts of concussions (who'da thunk?)
I guess the question would be, what are the stats on slot receivers/concussions across the NFL.

Since you brought up Collie and concussions... Welker was out a few games with a concussion. Did he have a concussion history with Brady?..or does Manning's route preferences lead to his slot receivers getting concussed? Probably nothing there and just coincidence, but I am curious.
That made me curious so I looked up Welker's injury history...no concussions until he came to Denver.
Earlier this year, one of my good friends was asking me how Welker would do with Denver. And I told him he'd be pretty darn good as long as Peyton didn't get him killed over the middle. I thought it happened too often for it to just be a coincidence, don't know why though.

Think Auburn will score before the half?
Edited to add: Guess that would be a no.

I've been spoiled by this Wildcard Weekend and the other BCS Bowls--I hope FSU picks it up because I like drama* when it comes to football!
*only not really when it pertains to our Colts ;)

On the TD to Fleener Da'Rick blew past th corner and was wide open..
I think Andrew saw him too, he tells Da'Rick something during their high-five'n in the endzone after the TD to Fleener

DHB is fast in a straight line. I think we can all agree on that.
However, he lacks the compact movements to be a CB (and a good WR, along with his non-hands) . His hips aren't fluid in movement, and his change in direction is pretty horrid, and he flails about too much. Being a CB takes a tremendous amount of body control as you have to read and react to what the WR is doing, and try not to get a flag as you're covering the guy. There's more to being a DB than just straight line speed.

The TV deal is $300 million for 20 years. And piggybacking of TY's post, the UT Longhorns are the most lucrative college program, even though their main sports (football and men's basketball) aren't really that good.
(The above link is from 2011 numbers, but you get the idea)
As for Charlie Strong...no idea since I haven't seen UL play since I was in college 6 years ago. I wish him luck though

Looks like Cinderella is San Diego this year...
They did play Philly in Philly's first home game of the year....

If that's true, I'm glad we didn't pay that.
