  1. And if Brady played for the Colts then this forum would be loaded with Colts Brady fans with his photo in their icon/avatar.

Jealousy and envy. I would lay money down that if Brady wasn't as attractive as he is, and was just average looking, but still had all that talent and success, he'd be loved by all. It's a shame, but I find men are way worse than women when it comes to being jealous of men like Brady.

And?  I don't get that argument.

I don't like Brady because he plays for the Patriots, who were the bane of the Colts existence there for awhile.

  2. But would there really be an accurate record for concussions?  There is a lot more emphasis on diagnosing them this season, probably due to the settlement the NFL recently made for retired players.

No idea, I'm just repeating information that I found.  I'm going to guess no, there aren't accurate accounts of concussions (who'da thunk?)

I guess the question would be, what are the stats on slot receivers/concussions across the NFL.

  3. Since you brought up Collie and concussions... Welker was out a few games with a concussion. Did he have a concussion history with Brady?..or does Manning's route preferences lead to his slot receivers getting concussed? Probably nothing there and just coincidence, but I am curious.

That made me curious so I looked up Welker's injury history...no concussions until he came to Denver.

Earlier this year, one of my good friends was asking me how Welker would do with Denver.  And I told him he'd be pretty darn good as long as Peyton didn't get him killed over the middle.  I thought it happened too often for it to just be a coincidence, don't know why though.

  4. DHB is fast in a straight line.  I think we can all agree on that.

However, he lacks the compact movements to be a CB (and a good WR, along with his non-hands) .  His hips aren't fluid in movement, and his change in direction is pretty horrid, and he flails about too much.  Being a CB takes a tremendous amount of body control as you have to read and react to what the WR is doing, and try not to get a flag as you're covering the guy.  There's more to being a DB than just straight line speed.

  5. The TV deal is $300 million for 20 years.  And piggybacking of TY's post, the UT Longhorns are the most lucrative college program, even though their main sports (football and men's basketball) aren't really that good.

(The above link is from 2011 numbers, but you get the idea)

As for Charlie Strong...no idea since I haven't seen UL play since I was in college 6 years ago.  I wish him luck though
