  1. Except on that one run by Anderson...

    But an otherwise great job!

I had a chance to rewatch the game last night, and that 4th and 1 was only a hair less frustrating the second time.  During the initial viewing I don't ever think I've yelled "NOOOOO" so loud at an inanimate object before (that, being my tv).  Take out that play and it really was a clinic on tackling across the board.

  2. I want to give Vontae props on his tackling ability.  He's not the biggest guy out there but dude can tackle.  All he did in this game, the one play sticking in my mind is his take down of Julius Thomas (I think it was him) before Thomas could get out of bounds and stop the clock on the last or second to last drive.

  3. Yeah he can run with the nut for sure. I know you look at the game again. Do me a favor and watch the 2nd fumble play closely. I thought it was possible he might have been down. Ehh .. I bet you won't get a good enough look at it

I thought his elbow was down too.  Oh well.

Loved, LOVED that even though Luck kept looking downfield, he would take his checkdowns to Boom.  And props to Boom for catching everything thrown to him.  Run, Booooooom, run!!!

  4. Apart from TY's TD catch and run, the only thing that really needs to be seen in its entirety is the last drive for the Colts.  Had the heckuva catch by Moncrief on 3rd and 7, had the heckuva throw by Luck on 3rd and 10 in the redzone (over the middle to Fleener), plus the run by Boom and the TD pass.  We haven't had a drive like that this year, I'm hoping the mojo has finally come back.

    Go Colts!

  5. my first weekend and 70 sounds like a lot of dough until you think about the  amount  of games you get to watch and he number of times you can watch them. I am in plus I have no choice if I want to catch al the Colts games.

The $70 also gets you previous seasons to watch (apparently back to 2009).  That was fun for me because I missed a big chunk of Luck's rookie season due to work, and I was able to go back and watch the legend begin (Green Bay).  The Seattle game from last year was worth the price of admission for me.

If anybody does sign up for it and pay, it automatically renews at the beginning of August, just an FYI.

  6. This is the second year I've used it.  I live in Texas and I can't stand Direct TV for various reasons...and this is the best I can do.

Apart from the mandatory viewing delay, it's a pretty good service.  I recommend it to people who want to use other avenues than DTV.

  7. I was just able to watch the game (NFL Game Rewind)...and I like what I saw out of him.  That catch and toe tap at the 1 yard line made me grin like a fool.

Me likey so far.  Feed Moncrief!
