  1. I still maintain that this was not, ON THE WHOLE, a good performance, and he has a lot to learn from going back over the film.

That said, his work in the last few minutes was incredible and had me jumping around the room with delight. Things like that make me certain he's destined for greatness. I just wish he'd cut down on the turnovers.

    Agreed

  2. It's asinine comments like that that bring the "trolls" out of the woodwork. To all those that want the Skins fans to stop posting, STOP POSTING ABOUT RG3. How freaking simple is that? You don't want them here? Then stop baiting them! Otherwise get used to it because this is a public forum with no registration restrictions so there is nothing stopping RG3 fans or fans of any other player/team from registering here to defend their team/player from *ic comments by some of the Colts fans here who laud the Colts organization for being as classy as it is yet seem to be incapable of showing any type of class of their own. Some of the Colts fans are every bit the trolls that they claim others to be.

    Co-signs.

  3. Why do you always have to bring up PEYTON not needed this is the Colts and Luck is our QB. Peyton post should be in the NFL section............Nuff Said

While i don't think peyton is pertinent when discussing Andrew Lucks struggles, i think it's comical how everyone reacts when someone mentions Peyton. It reminds me of the scene in Lion King when Zazuu (the bird character),while in the presence of Scar, mentions Mufasas name under his breath.Scar goes berserk and threatens Zazuu. You guys act like Scar. Lol

  4. That one is easy man we are Fans of the Colts as you said. What is the term fan short for?

    fa·nat·ic/fəˈnatik/

    Noun:

A person filled with excessive and single-minded zeal, esp. for an extreme religious or political cause.

    Adjective:

Filled with or expressing excessive zeal.

As for this entire topic/thread with just over a half season played your sample size for comparing these two amazing athletes is far too small. Both will be great additions to their teams for years to come. Who is better ? only time will tell.

I bet most Colts fans aren't as passionate about Vontae Davis as they are about Luck.

If a poster said so and so corner is playing better than Davis, I bet it wouldn't be a big deal.

I just wish people would be objective. I root for Luck to do good because he is a member of the Colts but like I said before, he needs to prove himself successful before i become a passionate fan of his. I'm a Colts fan and not an Andrew Luck fan. Maybe I will be one day.

So to me Luck is just another unproven rookie on the 53 man roster.

So when someone says RG3 is playing better than Andrew Luck, i agree, because he is. There is also a possibility that RG3 is the better player.

    Time will tell!

  5. Or maybe a lot of Colts fans are just happy with Luck and the direction this team is going in.

    Is that possible at all?

Is it possible we are happy with the kid? I don't want any other QB right now but Luck. I wanted Luck last season too when we started to look as if the first pick was ours.

I don't understand why we can't just be HAPPY with our team and our QB and leave it at that. Why do we always have these God awful QB threads. Even with Peyton we had them in terms of Brady and whomever and it often seemed to me at times some fans almost would have rather have had the "best" QB over the "best" team.

I always thought we had an insecure fanbase at times. Many were always jealous of Brady's postseason success but would never admit it so they just bashed him as system QB and still do.

Now some are jealous of RG3's stats and media hype at times so they have to find a way to bash this.

What I don't get is how any Colts fan could be passionate about Andrew Luck. He has only been on the Colts a few months, he hasn't really won anything, he hasn't really dominated any games (maybe the Miami game) we just just had a decade with the father of modern quarter backs, in Peyton Manning, who is still playing and playing at a high level.

I'm just indifferent. To me he is just another rookie on the Colts. He is nothing more, nothing less. Just another rookie who has to prove himself worthy of the pick. And he has a long way to go.

  6. I want to ask you a question. If the roles were reversed and RG3 put Luck's numbers and Luck put up RG3's numbers do you think these Colt fans would say that RG3 is the better player because he got more wins? I strongly believe that wins wouldn't matter. It would be about individual performance.

You"re asking if the Colts and Redskins switched records and their QBs switched stats, would Colts fans say that RG3 was the better QB since he had more wins.

    No.

I think a lot of the Colts fans are being homers and ate up all of the hype about Andrew Luck so they could justify the release of Peyton.

    Just my opinion.

I'm ambivalent when it comes to Luck.
