They're starting to resemble the early 2000s Patriots teams before Brady became an elite qb.
Great defense, great running game, and timely qb play.
Now the Ds not there yet but the identity is starting to take shape.

after some thought....I'd totally see why Ballard would pull the trigger....but I'd also totally see why he wouldn't.
How is Minkah playing the outside? I know he's great at slot, but Colts already have a very good slot cb.

this is tough for sure....I'd take him in a heartbeat, but at what price? Ballard won't get fleeced like Houston did with Tunsil.

We get it, you've got a bee in your bonnet about the D in the first game, in particular about the rookies playing. It wasn't as terrible as you make out. On the road against a strong AFC team, opening day, and we gave up 24. If you want to complain about Game 1 defense, go be a Browns fan, ouch.

Was NE in on it from the beginning? or did they just take advantage and jump on it when he became available? That is the million dollar question.
Something just doesn't seem right....and based in past precedent, nothing of any significance will happen to NE if it is proven they tampered.
