By this logic you'd be miserable with whoever it was to replace Manning. You seem to harbour this irrational dislike for Andrew purely because he's the man to replace Peyton Manning - why? None of us expect him to be better than Peyton, but that's no reason at all to hold this anti-Luck protest you seem to carry out over the boards. Would you do the same had Manning stayed with us and retired, would you have an instant dislike for whichever poor soul filled his boots after retirement? Or is it only because it came slightly too soon - something Luck can't be blamed for, it's not his fault - that you're so bitter about it?

yeah because everyone reaches the top of the mountain that consists of 4 NFL MVPS 399 TDs etc etcJust a hunch, but I sense there are some here on this forum who actually kind of hope Luck never reaches the top of the mountain as a QB.
Because if he did, then he has a chance to be better then Manning and it might ruin a lot for some.......

its just hype doesnt mean it will be a competitive game they want to avoid a disaster like last seasons Saint gameI would have thought that one of the national networks would have chosen the Colts during primetime this year, given Luck's probability of being the QB, and all the hype surrounding him.

Grigson saw what Vick who is much less of a passer than RG3 could doI've been thinking this same thing! I know the Colts dont like the risk of a running QB (youre much more likely to get hurt, right Michael?) BUT!! What if.... what if the franchise believed they could rein in RGIII? Keep him in the pocket? Imagine a QB of Peyton's caliber, but one that can take off like a scalded cat when a play falls apart.
Can you get your head around what a Peyton Manning who could RUN would have done?

Im with you 100% on thisRGIII is being bashed, for whatever reason or another. Some might have hidden feelings coming out by doing so, some might be suppressing those feelings. The kid hasn't done one thing to deserve the negativity.

Griffin is as smart and accomplished as Luck and comes from a family with a military background. Why do you think hes fake?Because that's how kids talk these days, as if it's cool to talk as dumb as possible. It wasn't meant to imply ebonics, but I can see how you may have taken it that way. The best recourse would be to flag my post by reporting it and explain to a mod how that could be seen as racially derogatory. I wouldn't refer to the mod as an "SS officer" while reporting it though, as was done on the last page.
I have spoken about how Grif strikes me as fake and I would imagine he talks way different when there isn't a microphone in his face. I may be wrong, just my impression of his flashy nature and "show-off" persona. Luck doesn't seem to try to be anything he's not, he just is what he is. I like that.
BTW, two of my all time favs include Warren Moon and Randall Cunningham. I would have been ecstatic to have them here in Indy as our QB's.
Anyway, my apologies to anyone that took my post as slanderous against black folk. It wasn't meant that way and anyone that knows me here knows that I'm always cooking up a joke, sometimes I break a few eggs. Just report the post and I'll be more than supportive if they take my comment down.

The problem with Jenkins isnt fixed through coaching. Jenkins just flat out doesnt care UF is a great program and he was surrounded by coaches like Urban Meyer and co.

^Minnifield always plays in off man concepts and zones he cant run with anybody and still will get beat repeatedly over the top. Once I Dowling left and Minnifield had to take on #1 receivers he was exposed
