  1. My statement that Luck will bring the style of O that we as Colts fans are used to does not mean that I think Luck will be the exact replica of Peyton. It just means that I think (and I would think you would agree with this) that Griffin will have a more Vick/Newton style of play while Luck will have a more Peyton/Brady/Brees style of play. The two are two completely different types. I do think we will see more of an established run game on our offense (thank goodness), but with time we will be a passing style team (that we fans are used to). Now, of course this is my opinion, so we can agree to disagree.

I agree ot an extent except I think Griffin here would be more like Big Ben than Vick or Newton in terms of style of play. While Luck will be more like Matt Ryan early on and Rivers under Schottenheimer
  2. Over the years your pets in football never impressed me much. You will probably point out though anytime Griffin does something right and if Luck does something wrong.

Do yourself a favor and stop rooting for the Colts then if you hate Luck so much. Nobody needs your mindless posts on how bad he is and how good the overrated poor man's Vick is.

Thats fine in the circles that matter people are impressed with my assessments.
  3. Those numbers say it all,..win OR lose..you pass more than you run

..The Lions gained 32 yards becausr they feel behind and had to pass..

    ..and that's just one game..

///I just dont want our offensive focus to change under Luck's QB-ing..

...because the 'Indy-NE-NOLA" style is the way the game is going.

Lets not get confused and take a U-turn

Oh it will have to change early on atleast he comes from a run heavy offense and I dont expect him to throw us to victory with 35-40 attempts
  4. Ground & Pound is a method for Failure in todays NFL.

The playoff win over the Ravens that someone mentioned would have been a sure Loss if the opposing QB wasn't average like Flacko. The reason the Ravens lost that game & KC the week before was they both thought they would easily run it down our throat, even though we sold out against the run and were very vulnable to the pass.

The Best Teams have the Best QBs and the best qb's out pass/score mediocore qb's.

WE WILL have one of the Best QBs in football for the next 15 years and we need to take advantage of his skills not have him handoff all day.

All he did at Stanford was hand it off all day though?
  5. I remember that game. Really ugly performance. The lucky bounce, the possible INT's when throwing into traffic on multiple occasions, the backwards pass, obviously nothing but spread plays, poor deep ball accuracy/chemistry, looked to scramble far too often, held the ball too long via improvisation (aka Roethlisberger style), took some vicious hits (those hits at the NFL level could be injuries) and a bad snap. Granted, it's hard to blame RGIII on all of that, but this kid to me never did look like a 1st overall pick.

Some people say RGIII does not scramble as some suggest, but you wouldn't know it watching this game!

Yet he still persevered and won the game. We also have Roethlisbergers old OC who did alright with the improvisation to the tune of two sbs
